The most important reason that xichen is such a lovable character is that although he was raised with the strict rules of lan clan under the super strict supervision of his stoic uncle, he didn't take after him. He was a soft , gentle and kind soul with an extra ordinary wisdom. He was the one who guided wangji to step out of his safe zone and look at the world not as pure black and white. He understood lan sect rules better than anyone else yet he was wise enough not to confine himself and his little brother to those rules despite his uncle's wishes. He was a real human among the robotic lan disciples.
True. He knows how to keep his humanity despite those insane clan rules and he doesn't hate Wei Ying. He knew why his brother's match and soulmate is Wei Ying. And the Lans would be better off with QiRen in permanent self seclusion.

Sebenarnya di The untamed itu ceritanya tentang saudara kanfung yang saling support. Biasanya di series2 apalagi yang kolosal, sesama saudara akan saling ebrsaingmmemperebutkan entah takhta atau harta atau cewek. Tapi di sini semuanya saling support. Bahkan saudara angkat juga saling support. Gak ada yang toksik atau menikung. Aku suka karakter ntar saudara di sini ❤❤❤

I disagree. Both weiying & lanxichen knows lanzhan best. Both brothers grew up with eachother & had time, so know eachother best .. for weiying it took time because of many reasons ( such as time, everything) even with that interactions weiying started to understand him, wanted to become close even if he was a outsider but at some point he started to understand him best. So my answer is both weiying & his brother know him best❤.
