this video is clearly about God. If it was about his wife then he would have looked in her eyes and sing to her, but even when he was hugging her, he was looking up to God and saying the words. He was even thanking God when he say that his wife was not hurt during the accident. Great Song!

I think Marvin is singing to God. In the video, its obvious that he is so thankful for his girl and is appreciative to God that He didnt let me down when she was in the car accident. Its a thanks and praise to God.

i agree..to many gospel christian artist have taken Jesus out of there music..they are trying to catch the secular bcus this song can also be used to be song to your spouse boy friend /girlfriend ect..He pointed to the sky..but the Name Jesus would have made it so much better in this video..but also he can be thanking God for his beautiful wife..but still his name is left out..but its a great song..the video just doesn't match..But keep singing brother..all Glory be to God =)
This video was touching. However, I don't like the way his voice sounds synthesized. He doesn't need any of that. He sang at my church, El Elyon Church Int'l in Atlanta, at our Watch Service. I was blown away! His voice is so powerful and he sounded magnificent singing live. So anointed!

I think TRANSPARENCY is what you are lookign for to reach the lost, since we must always uphold our character and integrity, whether people are around to see it or not. We first believe Christ, then we live Christlike, and THEN we SPEAK christ to others in order to reach them. But if Christ is never plainly and clearly spoken, then how do we know it's Christ? Let the redeemed of the Lord SAY SO.

I saw Marvin Winans Jr. in St. Petersburg, Fl. January 31, 2009. He sang this song on stage. He is an amazing singer and performer. I love this song!
I love this track, it is definitely about God. The words used by Marvin Winan Jr paints the all to clear picture that God is the one that is 100% there for his people and never lets us down. The words does not describe his wife or any person because unfortunately we do let one another down. Thank you Marvin for encourging us through this song and praising the God that has his peoples back ALWAYS.

For all of you that seem confused about the song...it is a double meaning song with a meaning of his wife who never lets him down as well as GOD who never lets him down. She is a gift to him and GOD is in relationship with them both.

This song has inspired me sooooooo much. It puts my mind on the Lord Jesus Christ. I thank the Lord for the inspiration of the WHOLE Winans family. I've been walking with the Lord for about 26 years now and Marvin Winans Sr has been at the top of my list of most ALL TIME inspirations (for me) but I have to say, it looks like Marvin jr has an anointing of the Lord on His life too. I'll be praying that God's perfect will be done for the WHOLE Winans family. Jesus be with you :-)

I think he was trying to illustrate that we ought to have a relationship with God and that he's so understanding and will never leave us even when we think he has or will. How we always fail him but he forgives us because he knows we are better than what we make ourselves to be. Praise be to God, he has never let me down, I let him down most of the time. I love him.

After hearing this song 8 years ago. I find the song again.
Because we are all fallen we can let each other down. So the song is talking about how God has never let him down. Though the video itself is showing him and his wife it's still talking about God period. The video tells a story of how this bad car accident could've injured his wife, but God protected her and so Marvin is rejoicing as to how God never let's him down.

Heard song snippet on Word network and was compelled 2 search. Video touched me because his wife was suddently distracted when light changed and avoided being hit by someone who ran light. I fell asleep twice behind wheel and felt Tap on my shoulder both times preventing accidents. Who else experienced situations where u know you were saved becaues of His Grace. Testify.

The Lord Jesus Prays for you to the Father, so you have nothing to worry about it, just let it go, just trust the Lord, and he will make you smile and bring you joy.
