Picked up a RAC in green with he same panels and back pack a couple days ago... my 10×12 lvl 4 move a lot too...Styrofoam strips about 3/4in thick and 12in long on the side of the plate... then a 10in long strip that is 1in thick on the bottom of the plate.... that or run a behind the plate ifak kit. Both keep the plate from moving around
“Iron sharpens iron” tee shirt 👍🏻 Always consistently great content. Always professionally done Useful to me, because I own a very inexpensive plate carrier and need this content to figure out what works for me.
How’s the construction of the shoulder straps and how they are attached ? That’s always my concern as a weak point and the stitching. And do you have any thoughts on the velocity systems scarab lt ?
I’ll chime in on the Scarab. I’ve had one about a year and half. Construction is great. It’s comfortable. Wore it through a JRTC rotation a year ago with no issues. Some negatives. The inside lip of the opening for the plate pocket rolls back towards my stomach and rubs. Quite annoying. I have their Quad 5.56 placard. The Velcro definitely doesn’t seem as grippy as it used to be. I’ve thought about getting a quick release system to add to it. I want to get a different placard that doesn’t have all Velcro pouches so I’m considering the Maximus with its zippers.
@Wise Men Company FYI the extra room in the plate sleeves is easily taken up by adding trauma pad. Good to have. Add some foam and "problem" solved. Great review. Thx
Question, how much is HRT paying to review the made in china plate carrier? All the gun channels have highly recommend this but none have mentioned it's a china plate carrier, why not review a crye, spiritus, ferro, or velocity systems, (made in USA). Here's my "non-paid-for" opinion, buy any of those others, I use them all and we don't need china reinventing the wheel.
That shirt is dope 🤙🏾

Does the placard come with the female clips to receive the male clips on the placard or do I need to purchase separately
Think you could cut out the elastic and fit some esstac kiwi inserts in the placard?
Is this plate carrier made in China?
I use Haley Strategic triple mag inserts for the micro in mine. I couldn't deal with the elastic it came with.
FYI Surefire Tactician its in the pistol mag really well. You can throw a MICRO 556 TRIPLE MAG INSERT in there to hold the AR mags.
What is that big water proof bag in your pc pack
Looks like a Magpul Daka pouch
What medkit is that again? I can’t find it
Isn't there anything inside the plate bag to tighten up on the plate to keep it from moving?
You didn’t mention anything about the quick release cummerbund that hrt has available
Anyone that doesnt like ranger green is wrong
The hard facts of life.
What country are these made in ?
Unfortunately China
I heard they were made in Ohio
Columbus, Ohio. USA
Are they made in Ohio or is the company just based in Ohio?
What pants are you running in these videos
“Iron sharpens iron” tee shirt 👍🏻

Chris Shafer good construction on the everything. I have not messed with the Scarab but people seem to like it.

Did you back the plates with anything? Might make them fit better?
Nice video bro. Ordering a very similar set up minus the backpack. Thanks!
Silly question, what song is this? I'm trying to figure out where I recognize it.
"Run from the threat, turn, fire!" lol good content, Ben.

Ben are you wearing soft armor inserts behind those SAPIs?

I multiple videos on Spiritus and Ferro Concepts (now made in USA). Did you even watch the whole video?
