That would be so dumb lmao. This guy put thousands of hours into Huntress alone to get to this level. Besides she is the only killer that can do stuff like this, it's not good enough of a reason to remove this feature.
There used to be a player called Sverkeren who did stuff like this, but didn't like doing lots of orbital shots because people got used to it and expected them. So he would also chase and hit people with shots when they thought they were safe behind cover by knowing precisely how tall the hitboxes of the terrain geometry were and how high the survivor hitboxes went over their character models. You'd see him hit hatchets in close proximity over forehead-level high walls. No where was safe if you weren't paying attention at all times.
His last two are my favourite dbd videos of all time and all of his videos are gold honestly. More underrated dbd youtuber becuase he posts once every blue moon xD The mad skills, but also the editing and the music top shit
I have a friend who does stuff like this, not to THIS degree, and he's tried a few times now to get the double hit, but hasn't gotten that yet. I believe this is a mixture of his best shots on 1 video. (which is obvious lol) even tho he has multiple double shots within a second, isn't enough to think he's cheating. He's actually that good! I used to be able to do some orbitals back when I mained huntress. I'll get there tho now that they are possible again. Btw small clarification I wasn't able to do dbd things version of orbitals which is the, "f you die" double hit. Wasn't that good ok.
Yeah I have a couple orbital lineups I made myself but I run Rose Root + Babushka which limits your orbital range in exchange for raw horizontal timings. imo I prefer it over the orbital style as it's more engaging for survivors since they can try to dodge it
Let me tell ya guys, I'm not DBD player(a game that cost upfront but has micro transactions is wild, not for me guys 😅) but I am a Team Fortress 2 enjoyer and lemme tell ya, there's a reason 8/10 hackers/bots in our games use hitscan, cuz projectiles suck for aimbots so most hackers don't use projectile hacks. And that 2/10 of hackers use Direct Hit, an unlock that makes projectiles zoom so fast it's almost a hitscan. So yep, looking from the footage this huntress throwable axes aren't that fast and on top of that, that dude making predictions from across a HUGE map, that's also another weakness of aimbots. So maybe I'm not familiar with DBD and y'all somehow have hackers that figure out projectile hacks, but if you get sniper by huntress you're more likely to be playing vs a human compared to a hacker cuz it's just easier for human to do it and not hacks
@@ZzZ-cq9bd Have.... you not gamed in the last 20 years? The first response out of most people in online competitive games isn't "They're better then me!" It's "They're cheating!".
That's because you're using the keyboard for the orbitals. You bind "Look up" to a key so you can get a consistent throwing position without wobbling sideways after lining up. Similar to how Billy mains bind "Turn Left/Right" to keyboard keys to make curving more consistent than turning with the mouse during the sprints.
This reminds me a lot of smoke setups in CS. They're moving to certain spots before doing these orbital shots, which makes me believe they've spent ages in custom matches looking for good setups for these hatchet throws.
The fact that some shots even impressed the huntress. Like the times she throws a second hatchet, goes her way, and when she realizes the hit she double checks back like "dude"
Orbitals are a little harder than normal shots, but not as hard as it looks if you’re using a generator aura as a reference point. Basically you can tell from the aura if you look at it very closely if you have just gotten in range for an orbital. Then all you have to do is aim straight up and throw, assuming you’re otherwise lined up to hit the survivor on it like a normal throw would. (In particular if you just barely see the wires on the light post you’re in orbital range.) What’s much, much harder to hit are shots where you either are threading the needle through very tight openings (at least without a cursor helping), very long range non-orbital shots where the survivor isn’t stationary, and hitting orbitals on survivors who aren’t on generators but are just very far away where you don’t have a good reference for distance.
How does one even hack on Huntress, they’re projectiles and unless your hacks can predict where a survivor is going then it is very rare to properly hack on Huntress. The game also provides free wallhacks with all the different killer perks lol.
So i just started to learn orbitals. Very specific shots and very situational , but so effective if u cal land this . I just don't expected that my Huntress mentor would check this inspiring guy :з
Some killer players are just so skilled they can get incredible value from their power like nothing survivors have ever seen before. To be hit from across the map with perfect accuracy takes experience, perks, knowledge and understanding of the power and above all, luck. Luck that your target continues to run toward your shot or stand still for it. For every aspect of a shot to be accurate is crazy to comprehend. The counter? Assume every Huntress is running aura perks, listen to the power sound affect, and hide/ dodge. All the effort put into learning cross map shots are thrown out the window if you take a moment to locate and dodge the hatchet.
It really is as simple as being careful, to counter this stuff. I made it a habit to stop what i'm doing and watch my surroundings for cover whenever i hear the hatchet shing sound. Never got crossmapped in my entire dbd career cuz of it.
Every now and then I go up against one of these 5k+ hr huntresses and it is terrifying, u almost have to just guess when they’re gonna try to cross map, and predicting which aura reading perks they have helps a bunch for counterplay,
Best way to train doing this is getting a private lobby with 4 other friends to stand in hatchet landing zones to gauge the distance on all important spots
whats crazy is that this guy isnt using the regular aura setup for gens and just seems to be going by feel. I did hit like 5 orbitals on ppl just sitting in the field healing, but it seems like this is how this guy learned the tech

@@jordanplanas176not only that because of two hatchets instantly appearing they assume the huntress threw both at the same time when one was going orbital
most hackers will use aura perks to make it seem like they weren't just walling, this applies to other subtle hacks.
I hope there isn't some kind of nerf that prevents these sorta shots from happening, cause the amount of skill it takes to do this even in 1 out of 50 shots is unreal. Clearly put the practice in, deserves to be rewarded for it.
Nerfs? No sense, you answered yourself, this takes an unreal amount of skill and practice that I can't even imagine, and even with all the practice in the world only few people in the world can reach this level
@@TheJohnbusi I would think not, but like Coconut mentioned in the video, those "Orbital Shots" were nerfed out for like 8 months for whatever reason.
The skill cap that is required for this gameplay is next to non existant. Just to be able to do this is a dream to huntress mains. Something like that should never be taking away. I hope one day I can pull off 1 of these double shots 👍
That would be so dumb lmao. This guy put thousands of hours into Huntress alone to get to this level. Besides she is the only killer that can do stuff like this, it's not good enough of a reason to remove this feature.
6:15 song is Молчат Дома (Molchat Doma) - Судно (sudno)
He doesn't chase, just gets to an area where he can throw more reliably from and hits them from afar. People think he cheats too. But yeah a Huntress like this would be OLD Nurse tier.
3:55 Coconut is just in complete awe as someone that knows how hard it is to land these shots consistently. I always used to hate Huntress because of how OP iri heads were back in the day but my god she takes skill now. My ole PTSD still makes me hate her but I acknowledge how much skill she takes to maximize her performance now and DBD things is my FAVORITE DBD player of all time. Sadly I've stopped playing because of how bland killer has gotten with all the survivor hand holding updates(and the horrendous survivor sided glitches that made me not want to pick it back up) but I still watch DBDthings/Coconut/Otz/Hens/JRM/Ayrun as the best dbders when it comes to making interesting videos.
Technically he was hacking, he was hacking them to pieces with them axes BOAH!
Dbd Things is absolutely goated, I recommend watching all of his videos
honestly can't blame the people who thought he was cheating but he obviously is not cheating, this man is just so good at the video game
Thank you coconut for giving this creator some love. When I saw this and the follow up, human trebuchet - it blew my mind. Love to hear the commentary coming from another respected Huntress main!
It is so nice to see you enjoy this gameplay and get excited about it! What is also great is that you respect that content creator and credit them appropriately! Also that fact that you put that into perspective for people who don't know how much practice that takes, Thank you for the video!
Survivor Mains simply CANNOT FATHOM that a person playing Killer might actually be *GOOD AT IT*
Especially in this Busted ass Game MADE for Survivor mains to buy all their little "Cosmetics" and keep the Developer floating on their little Money River.
Gotta respect the time and dedication this guy put into learning huntress. She such a versatile killer in game and its sad people can't recognize this as genuine time and effort on the players part.
Funny enough this reminds me of some WW1 trivia I picked up, where US soldiers had gotten so used to their guns they could accurately tell the arcing of their bullets and learned how to curve the bullets into enemy trenches like artillery fire.
Honestly I don’t blame anyone for thinking it’s cheats, you don’t come across a really good huntress like this so you question life for a bit 😂. Very awesome plays by this huntress ❤
I loveee DBD things, found them a few months ago and fell in love with their content. So glad to see someone else react to them and appreciate them!
I love how its 100% legit game knowledge and at the same time its could be dodged, i wish more people would play like this. If i would be able to play, i would be a Trapper/Dwight anyway but.
this isnt a cheater, this is a virgin theres a small difference
Is it just me or does anyone else want to boot up dbd and use Huntress and think they could do this first game lol😂😂😂
if you know the basics on how projectiles work in video games, huntress is so easy to learn and master imo. my days of throwing knife shots in call of duty really aided me in learning ana
@@jayyh_01yeah but not the way dbd things does it trebuchet huntress is not something the average human can do
I think I want to play a match against this kinda huntress more than anything. It would honestly be an honor for my loss to contribute to the insane power of a top tier huntress.😂 Would 100% make all the bs worth it. Also how fucking fun would this be? Just running an absolutely wacky build with the added horror mechanic of trying to dodge an aerial assault. Sign me up.
@@jayyh_01 I'm a survivor main but I probably have about 500 hours as killer, and about half of those are with huntress. Maybe I just suck, but hitting shots like this is not easy. I can hit one every now and then, but definitely not consistently enough to have people think I'm cheating. And to hit one of those shots where he throws 2 hatchets and instadowns someone is just insane
"quickly shutting down DBD again after picking Huntress" What you talking about? I never thought of doing that.
8:31 So not *everyone* they played against thought they were cheating. Some were just impressed. 😂
Sova from Valorant has an ability called Shock Dart, and what people learned was how to stack Shock Darts.
This guy is basically doing the same thing that Sova players do. Fire one orbital long shot then following it up with an arcing fast throw.
It's genius... beautiful even. Hats off, and Hatchets off, to this person.
In DBD it's even more inpressive to pull off shots like this because you have to take map generation into account besides remembering how far back and how high you should aim at a pixel-perfect level
@@Samuel_Williams oh 100%. Although most, if not a lot, of Huntress mains use a Crosshair, so the magic is slightly lost there. But still, skill gap.
ive been sova darted like that, i was more suprised than angry
@TheBlackGunslinger I use cross hairs on consul to make up for the lack of control I have versus a PC Huntress main. Just to be able to consistently hit regular cross maps on controller feels like a dream. I wish I could practice "No screen" Flicks that spooky is amazing at. But it's impossible on controller lol
Nothing will ever make me happier than Molchat Doma playing over a vod of Huntress. The vibes are immaculate
this is another level of insanity, please make a video of your pratice, i think would be a great content!
As someone who mains Trickster, but plays all 4 ranged killers to a certain extend, this is mind blowing - I mean, I tried arc shots at some point on huntress, sure, but this is next-next-next-next-next-level-stuff 🤯
Well I know there's some very good huntresses out there but I used to consider that you were so much above, Coconut. But this is very impressive
8:42 bro isn’t that one of the the best DBD survivors in the world talking to huntress in EGC??? I could have sworn I’ve saw them in some of Hens’ videos.
yea Dan is from Eternal (most decorated comp dbd team). nutty player himself
@@drmagg666that's his gf lmao, dan would know
i love the first one at 0:50, they just stop after getting hit like "NAWWW THATS HAX BRUH"
As a Huntress main enthusiastic. Why do I think this huntress is not cheating? None of these insane shots are in the same video. This video is a mix of SEVERAL different trials. I believe this is a mixture of his best shots on 1 video. (which is obvious lol) even tho he has multiple double shots within a second, isn't enough to think he's cheating. He's actually that good! This guy don't upload every single day. This guy takes MONTHS to make a video like this! So he had time to make a video like this. (Which is amazing!) Stuff like this changes how people play Huntress, even in 2023 lol this guy takes so much time into perfecting his videos, he's willing to take the time to go to the next level! A level that 95% of gamers don't experience in DBD. Absolutely amazing content! 👏
We played a huntress that hit 13 of these in one game
@DeanLoretto I never seen any1 attempt this once in any of my time playing dbd since 2018. You seen 13 orbital hits in 1 trial? Someone is either hacking or your talking some crap!
@@SweetLeavesXbox1 I know someone who has hit even more than 13 orbitals its not difficult to do once you practice and have thes skill for it
@DeanLoretto more than 13 in one game... your so full of BS.
@@SweetLeavesXbox1 Look up GrumpiPepski and in most recent VoDs about 4-5 videos back he has one total length 2:13:10. Start at 1:35:50. The huntress in this stream is LEARNING from the guy I'm talking about and he's not even close to as good
4:35, not fully correct, this is the hardest thing to do in the ENTIRE GAME 😂😂😂
I used to be able to do some orbitals back when I mained huntress. I then was like, "I wanna play some other killers so I'm going to take a small break from her" I then proceeded to not play her for two years and I completely lost the skills for orbitals. I'll get there tho now that they are possible again.
Btw small clarification I wasn't able to do dbd things version of orbitals which is the, "f you die" double hit. Wasn't that good ok.
Yeah I have a couple orbital lineups I made myself but I run Rose Root + Babushka which limits your orbital range in exchange for raw horizontal timings.
imo I prefer it over the orbital style as it's more engaging for survivors since they can try to dodge it
Took that person a while to get that Godly with the huntress nice going
So maybe I'm not familiar with DBD and y'all somehow have hackers that figure out projectile hacks, but if you get sniper by huntress you're more likely to be playing vs a human compared to a hacker cuz it's just easier for human to do it and not hacks
yk their good when coco is impressed
“He’s better than me so he must be cheating” is what I gathered from watching the survivors POV for the most part
Welcome to gaming on the internet, hope you enjoy your stay!
@@leadpaintchips9461its not online gaming problem. Its just how much stupid is dbd survivors
@@ZzZ-cq9bd Have.... you not gamed in the last 20 years? The first response out of most people in online competitive games isn't "They're better then me!" It's "They're cheating!".
@@leadpaintchips9461 Yes you are right but dbd survivors are completely stupid
each time he looks up its quick and in a stright line and robitc, but when he shoots straight its wobbly and takes time
That's because you're using the keyboard for the orbitals. You bind "Look up" to a key so you can get a consistent throwing position without wobbling sideways after lining up.
Similar to how Billy mains bind "Turn Left/Right" to keyboard keys to make curving more consistent than turning with the mouse during the sprints.
@@TheOnlyToblin yeah i learned that like a week after dw
Finally you watched this, I commented in one of your post talking about this video
Bro popped his domain 🤣
trapper - watch the floor 24/7
huntress - watch all 360 degrees of the sky 24/7
This reminds me a lot of smoke setups in CS. They're moving to certain spots before doing these orbital shots, which makes me believe they've spent ages in custom matches looking for good setups for these hatchet throws.
That guy at 8 25 watching the hatchet fly straight towards them and not warning his bud lol
Probably because he thought there was no way it would actually hit 99.999999 percent of huntresses can't do that
@basementthing1862 if it were me I would've made a sound like "ooohgodjesuschrist" and started running as soon as I thought it was coming towards me

One of the guys said “what is he using a fucking mortar” that made me laugh bro.. mortar huntress
The fact that some shots even impressed the huntress. Like the times she throws a second hatchet, goes her way, and when she realizes the hit she double checks back like "dude"
What he learned is literally artillery strategy... for a game...
(In particular if you just barely see the wires on the light post you’re in orbital range.)
What’s much, much harder to hit are shots where you either are threading the needle through very tight openings (at least without a cursor helping), very long range non-orbital shots where the survivor isn’t stationary, and hitting orbitals on survivors who aren’t on generators but are just very far away where you don’t have a good reference for distance.
that video you reacted to made me start playing dbd and maining huntress ofc
1:58: Looks like the hitbox for the thrown hatchets are a little too big, doesn't it? The hatchet was a full body length away from the guy.
this huntress is pretty much like sova doing double shock darts
This man is the living definition of “I know where you are, and so does the sharp end of my axe”
How does one even hack on Huntress, they’re projectiles and unless your hacks can predict where a survivor is going then it is very rare to properly hack on Huntress. The game also provides free wallhacks with all the different killer perks lol.
Survivors when the killer is not 3.1m and m1: cheating!
“Oh no, my only weakness! indoor maps…"
Ballistics is a fascinating subject, things go up, then come down.
Other people: Huntress is not a stealth killer
This guy: Watch me
The guy either has a ballistic calculator built into his brain or he just sold the soul to DbD devil to land hits like that.
Bro remembers the whole huntress lullaby
@@dumblenutz5561 ez pz lemon squeezy
Every now and then I go up against one of these 5k+ hr huntresses and it is terrifying, u almost have to just guess when they’re gonna try to cross map, and predicting which aura reading perks they have helps a bunch for counterplay,
Ever since I went against a Huntress like this, I'm always checking the sky during potential BBQs
Bro has lineups
bro imagine sticking a template for different aura sizes and have like a sniper's scope notches for how far up/away players are
I know right! Watched all his meme videos, he is a very cool one! And his Huntress videos gave me A TONN of motivation for sure ❤
when you think you are safe knowing the huntress is on the other side of the map: are you sure about that?
Best way to train doing this is getting a private lobby with 4 other friends to stand in hatchet landing zones to gauge the distance on all important spots
I think he marked the width of the generators on his monitor.
when you bring artillery to a knife fight
I must ask this guy the ways of the Force. He's clearly Obi-Huntress Kenobi.
The real eyes in the skies ability
whats crazy is that this guy isnt using the regular aura setup for gens and just seems to be going by feel. I did hit like 5 orbitals on ppl just sitting in the field healing, but it seems like this is how this guy learned the tech
Dudes the #1 huntress
Had something like this on one of the maps. He knocked us down, we healed etc. Didn't hook as a thank you for us being his guinea pigs.
I saw this edit, it goes so hard
got that Sova Shock dart timing on some of those, it's pretty funny XD
saw p100 huntress other day that was straight hitting shots through roof in midwhich, she was stood outside and was htiting me with hatches through the roof in the 2nd floor locker room above the exit gate.
I always thought that sniping huntress in S-tier. They are rare breed, though, which is sad to me. It is literally the most scary playstyle to me. Not the Ghosty, not the Piggy, not the Myers, but sniping Huntress. No lullaby, no TR, just a hit out of nowhere! And you are never safe!

Omg they're absolutely insane! Fucking legendary Huntress
Bro I got hyped while watching this, cant believe someone is capable of doing shots like that
Hackers the Movie starring The Huntress as Zero Cool.
This looks like a combination of practice for posistional throwing and/or practice for angled throwing or too much physics awareness on the shot.
I do not think this kinda skill cap is human possible to repeate consistently. This dude is on a different world of insane. How do you learn to do this in so many different maps? The judgment of distance this guy has is godly. I don't think he's cheating myself, I think the dude practice those shots daily. He's obviously lining up his shots for all his drop shots, he's doesn't move at all while attempting these shots. I got to get a replay doing that atleast once 😂
