    Great video! Only one I've found that shows how an amp sits at the different tilt levels.

    Thanks for this video, this was just the information I needed. I also am running a Katana 50 so this helps a ton!🙏

      That's a great amp, having the speaker pointed up and at you gives you a greater appreciation for the rich tones the Katana can produce.

    Thanks for taking the time, it seems impossible to find the perfect stand, depends on the amp I suppose

    Thanks for pointing out the rear panel issues with this particular stand for a Katana 50 (I upgraded to MKII). In live situations, I use the footswitch for lighter, smaller gigs that don't require me using a Headrush MX5, and the blocking of the footswitch jack and the USB is a no go for me. Otherwise, this would've been an easy purchase for me.
    Again, thanks for pointing that out! 👍🤘

    Thanks, I use it to hold my 43 inch TV on stage as a timer or powerpoint slides display for presenters to view while on stage aka stage/comfort monitor

    I have Boss Katana 100 and I’m using all inputs in the back of the amp. BUT this stand is really bad for me. All inputs are covered by stand’s upper pipe. You can adjust it to the lower position, but the speaker will be facing the ceiling. So it didn’t work for me… Sent back to the seller.

      Thanks for that, I came looking for this answer for the 100. I'm going to buy the boss stand that's made for these then

    Who the hell is this guy looking at?
    I love the whole “sit down interview” style about an amp stand…like it’s a discussion on world peace or something 🤣.
    He’s like the poor man’s Rich Voss and Rich Voss is already the poor man’s version of Rich Voss.

    You can toss those Katanas around with a whisper. I have a Fender Blues Deluxe, weighs 46lbs. This stand is rated up to 177obs. Now there's the real test.

    Can you flip it over to give you access to the jacks that get covered up? Or will the cross bars not be long enough to hold the amp securely? (I have the Katana 50 as well)

    • @homeguitarplayer9482
      @homeguitarplayer9482 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I will look into that but the stand is less stable when its flipped over and I wouldn't trust it.

    I bought one of these for gigs. It's come unlocked three times and dumped the amp on the floor. I triple-checked to make sure it was locked. I'm done with it. It's a piece of junk.

    Who copied who? Look up the BOSS BAS-1 Amp stand.

    • @homeguitarplayer9482
      @homeguitarplayer9482 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, I own them both, possibly the same manufacturer. The only real difference is the extendable tubes on the Boss.

    • @SteveLedger
      @SteveLedger ปีที่แล้ว

      @@homeguitarplayer9482Cool. Though the BAS-1 only officially suits the Katana MkII as BOSS removed the underside tilt-stand from the newer versions of the KATANA. I guess they recognised the problem ;)
