Shout to the Homie from the Mailbag for mentioning Tommie Harris... I loved his game and was heartbroken when Big Tommie didn't recover after his knee injury...
And Herbert gonna run for 2-4 yards a carry AGAIN. That’s good the bears are shopping him around. Id like for him to stay as well but his yards per carry is sub par.
It's pretty obvious that 3 legit RB's are required to have an effective running game. I can't understand why people keep bringing up the rumor that the Bears might trade Herbert. Don't make sense. I don't believe Ryan Poles is that stupid. What happens if Swift or Johnson gets hurt... then what?
Saying 3 RBs are required is a huge exaggeration. Yes you meed depth but you don't NEED 3 rbs of the caliber of what we have here. With that said it is a luxury I'd like to see how it works out but it's def not required.
Shane Waldron is THE REAL DEAL...why? EVEN his "VANILLA" offense is formidable. The motions and formations with different personnel groups 🔥🔥🔥 Velus should/could do good with the new kickoff set up‼️ 🐻⬇️
Hiding Velus and Tory for week 2 at Texans! Velus is the Best choice for kick returns, size and speed is what you need. He's a lot like Cordelle Patterson, downhill punisher! Scott certainly isn't the answer!!😂
Poles was SMART to sign DJ!! 4 yrs 110mil is a STEAL! DJ is, and will be worth NORTH of 30 mil per year!! DJ has some stability now, probably retire after that.
Roschon is borderline awful (prob never be more than mid) and Swift is super injury prone. the bears would be insane for trading herbert. Herbert should be the starter / primary ball carrier and Swift should be the 3rd down back who also gets some early down carriers. Herbert 250 carries Dswift: 100+ carries and 100 targets. Johnson should play if there is injury. he doesnt have enough wiggle to be a legit NFL back and he'll injure himself trying to be physical.
@@ChiBearsCentral no. i actually watch the entire league unlike 99% of fans. there is no such things as "good" or "bad" in sports. its all relative to your competition. roschon simply is not better than the average back in the NFL. thus, he is sub par, mid, below average. Sorry but gotta disagree with what was said about Velus. I think Velus is gone. There is nothing from him that says we should keep him. As for Bagent, as I think it is a little contest happening. I think he may stil shine to take that spot but don't be surprise he drops to 3 and totally agree, Hebert may have been showcased for a trade.
FYI: It's pronounced "Rip-en" not "Ripe-en"

Sox fan here. We been horrible I'm so glad it's football time now. Very exciting.Chicago up, BEARDOWN!!!!!
Shout to all the Mailbag Callers... You all contribute to the show well...
The Bears look like they have a offensive coordinator. The first since Adam Gase.
I think if we do trade Herbert it’ll be mid season when teams are desperate for RBs after injuries start piling up
Herbert AIN'T going anywhere!! He's a BETTER pure runner than RoJo. Swift #1, Herbert and Johnson split the rest depending on play call. 😊❤IMO
And Herbert gonna run for 2-4 yards a carry AGAIN. That’s good the bears are shopping him around. Id like for him to stay as well but his yards per carry is sub par.
Problem with Herbert is he is a good pure runner, but that's about it. His pass catching and pass blocking are subpar.
@@AlienXpress99 he led the league with 5.7 ypc! Don't know where you are getting your stats.
@@derralupton5388 thats a big difference. Almost 2 more yards huh?
Last year of his contract and they just paid Swift. Someone else will pay him.
Can we learn how to pronounce Rypien's name? He's uncle won a superbowl MVP.. It's a well known name in the NFL
Was his uncle Mark?
Idgaf what his uncle did. We'll pronounce it how we pronounce it get over it

Blocking is the ONLY area RJ beats Herbert other than that there’s zero comparison. Would be a big mistake trading Herbert. RJs ceiling is RB2.

We play the Texans week 2 don’t wanna show them V12 returning kicks smart move coach
I would doubt they trade him just because they need depth maybe he’ll go at the deadline or offseason but not now
It was a little weird to not see Hurbert start the game. Does that now mean that Johnson is above Hurbert on the depth chart?
