The entire moment feels like it's happened before. Who I'm hanging out with, how I'm feeling, what I'm smelling, what we're doing and everything that I've planned to do in that moment all becomes so overwhelming. Like it's a crystal clear memory that in reliving for the second time. And it's never the same. I could be in a store, I could be at home. I could be with people I've never met or places I've never been before and suddenly I get this wave of familiarity wash over me. i remember my dad jokingly saying i can see auras when i was telling him that apparently not everyone incorporates colors with certain words/people/personalities. if someones color were to be purple, i would hate them until i have a reason not to. i’m guessing because a lot of people who have hurt me in my life are purples. turns out i’m just a synesthete but it was a pretty cool theory.
