Definitely not made to last like they use to when they initially came out years ago. I always keep back ups. I have the large size and another smaller one.
a few years ago i bought one. the bass pro in daytona they were 55 dollars. i bought mine at academy for 30 dollars. mine does not bend. the one at walmart might bend. there is one with a straight thinner handle. mine has a thicker curved handle.
Were you targeting redfish?. I've never seen that many reds caught at once, especially not on Navarre beach. My personal best is 1 And haven't caught another one since then and me and my girlfriend fish navarre 3 days a week. Great job! Tight lines.
I honestly was targeting a big pompano by only using the largest sandfleas for bait. These redfish were definitely in a school that were just hanging out in a spot that we fish frequently. All it took to hook up was for me to cast in the same zone with a big sandflea. The fish were close to shore but in a deep hole with a rip current. I fished the same spot a week later and caught only one.
I watch a lot of fishing videos. You should start your videos with where you're fishing at. I don't even know what state You're in!. You don't have to give us GPS coordinates. I know you want to save your spots, but tell us what beach you're on so we know where you're at
Tight lines! Nice job, Omar.
Wooo let's go! It is definitely the right time of year. God bless you and yours brother.
Fishing conditions have been great all week. Winds will be picking up today and tomorrow. Hopefully the sargasum weeds stay away.
@@beachgroceriesfishing ya no kidding. I was out in Virginia Beach last weekend and the seaweed was thick, and was the only thing anyone was catching.
Dude u r crushing it. Ive been on the struggle bus west of u.
Seas are not as rough for the next several days with southerly winds. Fishing will be good so long as the seaweed, catfish, and ladyfish don't invade.
I think I have the same POS sandflea rake as you. Bends in the middle if to enthusiastic about raking.

@@mortsims yeah the ones at Academy are not bad for $30, the one I got as from Dick’s.
Are these "red fish" any good to eat? Spuin you can only keep them at a certain size?..
Yes, they are good to eat. Redfish must be between 18” and 27” in length to be harvested. The daily bag limits are 2 fish per person .
Just had for dinner!

First Fisherman I ever heard saying the fish he caught were "too big"!😂😂
Exactly! The legal size to keep has to be within 18 to 27 inches. The smallest I caught was 28in and largest was 36in.
Nice fish. What bait are you using?
Big Sandfleas.

Majority of our beach fishing is at Opal Beach, Navarre, FL located in the National Seashore.
