With the punchboards gone, how much space is left in the box? It looks like everything is going to fall out of the lazy susan as soon as the box is tilted. Honestly, this is one of the most frustrating things in game design; punchboard space that makes the inserts useless. I've said for YEARS: Make the punchboards a cm narrower, extend the walls of the insert so that everything fits flush with the box lid, then have the punchboards hidden inside and under the insert. When you're finished punching, toss the boards and then the insert works perfectly.

The creator actually addressed this concern. He said that the new box will come with the lid lifted a bit due to the cardboard cutouts. But when you remove that and put the pieces in lazy Susan, everything will fit flush, as in no gap between lazy Susan and the lid
Edit: look carefully at lazy susan when he opens it, it looks to be somewhat lifted already above box and compare it to when he puts it back in

​@@professorsharp This is correct. Of course we sized for precision, but material tolerances all come into play on the final production. I decided to shoot toward the conservative end in box sizing for this very point so it's highly likely that the box top meets the lazy susan flush.
If for some crazy reason the box top and and lazy susan isn't flush, I would recommend putting a cardboard punchboard (or two) underneath the lowest thermoform tray in the game box.
All that said I recommend horizontal storage even though we did our very best to support horizontal AND vertical storage.

And for 100% clarity, the punchboards are overfilled in the box. The game box is 125mm deep when shrink wrapped, and 101.6mm deep when unboxed, punched, and lazy susan loaded for storage.

@@AdamsAppleGames This is awesome. I live overseas and I carry my games to gaming events every Saturday, so weight is a big issue for me. At a typical Gencon, I'll toss about ten pounds of surplus weight before packing my bags, most of it punchboards. You are absolutely a model for the entire industry to follow.

Yes, I believe box says 36+ and we included 39 just to cover things like replacements and lost bits. Hope that's okay!

Late pledge, so can't comment within the kickstarter. Game looks awesome. I really hope you choose to ship it asap. The last update hinted at you possibly waiting out the shipping crisis going on, but I really think that's going to lead to either a MUCH longer delay in fulfillment, or you end up giving in and paying higher costs than you would be right now. Christmas, Chinese New Year, unknowns with Covid...I just don't see how the shipping situation gets any better until summer 2022 at the earliest.
