I wanted to share my Scentsy Wickless Launch Party video because it was definitely a fun learning experience! Hopefully you can pull ideas from this video & learn from my mistakes & have a successful party!
Please share your personal wins/opps in my comments! Tell me your story! What worked for you? What didn't?
What I knew I should have had but didn't:
1. Category cards. My guests were asking which baskets were what which could have been avoided if I'd had category cards
2. The 'Like it, Love it, Not for me' sheet. This will help your guests document & keep track of the scents that really want to purchase.
3. I didn't arrive early enough. I didn't plan my day very well. We went to the movies & out to eat which caused me to get to the house 30 minutes before the party. I was fine but I would have rathered been there earlier to let the scents permeate more.
Wins:
1. The set up of my products. I added a few extra things to make my table pop. I was showcasing the Holiday Lights warmer so I had snow around it. I also had a shower loofa around the Layers body wash.
2. Background information. My guests really like knowing about the company
passing the baskets
Opportunities:
1. Table placement. The table was in the middle of the room so the people that were sitting behind weren't able to see the display.
2. I needed to be more engaging during presentation. I think I might do trivia. Like 'how much did Scentsy grow between 2004 & 2007?' (600%)
3. Order form explanation. Tell them not to fill out the form completely because it can be confusing. Just write down what they want (warmer, plug in) & what scents.
4. Payment time. Veryyyy overwhelming. Next time, I'll ask that when they are ready to check out, get with me & I will come to them instead of them dropping it off on the table.

Hey! I just joined Scentsy.. I had a friend ask to book a party two days after I got my starter kit! YAY! I did get the mini starter kit though with one warmer and the mini testers for fall and winter. I don't have many things to display at my party. Do you have any suggestions for my set up and gifts for games? The party is February 18th, so I am trying to get a jumpstart.
Jessica Bush all you need is your starter kit 😊 as long as people can smell the scents, you're good! You can take 1 or 2 cubes of the bar you got & make samples as the gifts/prizes! Just keep it simple

I just signed up for Scentsy and recieved my kit today! Is it required to do parties? I was thinking of doing everything through social media and friends and family primarily because I'm insanely shy and can't talk to groups of people even if they are felt or family

I'd love to be able to sell Scentsy but I could never do this. I just don't have the personality let alone be able to remember the spiel :(
Aww don't say that. I honestly haven't done a home party in over a year now (which is nice, no spiel!) I mainly do home and basket parties so there's no public speaking lol. I honestly stopped 'selling' a little over a year ago & I 'share' now. I like how you said you stopped selling and started sharing. This is the approach I am going to take as I am not one for standing in front of a crowd and speaking. I get nervous easily..
Do you have to have a launch party? I already have a friend that wants a party as soon as my kit comes in!
TMC it's not required but it definitely helps you to launch your business it the right direction!
Kimberly Pulito Independent Scentsy Consultant just asking cause I only had like 2 say they would come to mine and I know she has around 20 that will for sure be at her party! An didn't know the difference.
Everything is great, I would just get out of the habit of saying burn the wax, you already seemed to have down saying warmer and not burner. You did am awesome job! Hope it was at least $500 party for you! ~hugs~
