Hope you get this. - HP and Arts resistance artifacts extremely recommended. - Izumik (boss) deals Arts damage. Nightingale is your best friend. - Encounters you need: The Beginning (middle option -100 Light) and then Sublimation (any option).
Just a quick update. You can get The Beginning encounter on floor 1. I wasn't sure and didn't want to spread misinformation when I told you. Personally just got it myself at the end of floor 1, so it is possible.

The enemy gets +15 aspd (it’s not that bad) but if you clear a battle with no life points lost you gain 15 light. Basically yeah. Pray to RNG early in your run. As time goes on and you have the collectible, life will get easier. Speaking from experience

One thing that makes this way easier is getting the "Determination" relic (gives you +120%HP and +20RES). You can get this if you have 90+ light when you reach the last encounter you need for this ending. So the trick is to try to get the first two encounters for this ending as early as possible (the first one that starts this ending and gives you -100 light, and then the second where you choose the "Creeping Branch" relic that gives you +15 light for each fight you win without losing life points). Then try to avoid further encounters until you hit 90+ light. As soon as you get enough light, aim for encounters again to get the "Determination" relic which will set you on the path for the last ending (but with the extra stat boost to help you out).
For people curious about specific useful ops texalter and yato can mostly be replaced with any strong burst helidrop (nearlter s2, skadi s2), or even approximated slightly with super long range offense; they're just about the two best options there are available. Lumen and the other therapists can help clearing the boss stuns faster, and can be placed a little further back, which can keep ops alive if things start getting hairy Personally recommend abandoning an ending 4 run if you wind up with metastatic or neurodegen as your rejections; you're going to have 1-4 ops getting hit with it every floor unless your encounter and battle rng are super favorable, and the final boss is a stiff statstick that demands you do a lot early
Cheers Ecko, just cleared this today! Level 90'd and M3'd Nightingale's S2 just for this, and the tips for +HP and arts resist/dodge collectibles were the real winners.

this sonovabitch and his second phase were a pain, I went in full blind without knowing what it did and it almost destroyed me even with full meta squad, NG and Ptilopsis getting one shot. I still managed to clutch it with Surtr at the blue box and losing everyone along the way. Now I need to do this again without leaking. Holy RNG
There's a cheese you can do with Weedy + any weight reducing mechanic to push him into a pit, probably easier than banking on a god run that also gets the right encounters to reach this ending.
@@boggart1062 You still need to have a few fast redeploys and a strong Nightingale to survive until you can do that cheese. Plus, not any Weedy - E2 Weedy min and prob M3

But if you play the normal mode, which I assume what this is, when you select which 3 class to recruit, you can select support from the top right corner. This is the only time you can use support. Any other recruitment later on must be your own.

My setup to 4th ending 1.Try to get lots of collectible. 2. Try to balance between encounters for now. 3. If you find encounter with 'Creeping Branch', get it. And then focus on the battle instead of encounters (if you found wander into wanderland, do it). If you're already at mid/end of 4th floor, might be not worth it. 4. In 5th floor, first encounter will give you buff/debuff depending on your light. 5. Difficulty 3+, Enemy HP Buff must be traded 6. Try to buy lots of things when encountering rogue trader and try to reroll (if you have specific collectible, just find the useful one) 7. Specific to the 6th floor, you will find rogue trader again, if you can "Touch the goods tentatively" by investing 100 ingots, Do it and loot everything The Boss mechanic 1. Offsprings is like guerilla shield. It's better to block or not depending on your collectibles and operators. My run, texas S3 is impossible to defeat those offsprings 2. As time goes, those offsprings might change into stronger enemies (for me) 3. You will have leaks. Also that Stun is f-ing dirty and might be detrimental on your run. You could use therapist for this. TL;DR : It's RNG FEST. You need to adapt on you setup. This guide explain consistent operators but the tactics may vary.
go mom squad and stack shields with yato solo at the end, much better option and much less demanding on your ops. normally you'll need about 40 hp, with no man's land that changes to 20 and with wavebreaker that changes to 10. if you get them both, ggs for most maps. edit: make sure you get to know map spawning, how to feed and have yato on s3. unlike this strategy, it also works on d15.
I'll max out Virtuosa, borrow Nightingale, and then I'll try it on surge 0 or -1. I wonder how it goes. I also wonder what the conditions for more part 3 story are.

I don't have Młynar either, but I have fast-redeploy cringe duo max maestires and levels, Reed, Lee, and some other characters like Rosmontis, Greyy, and Passenger. But yeah, I ain't trying unless I get Arturia to some decent level. It's kinda unreal, how heavily I rely on Yato and Texas in IS.

@@H0elessRomantic1 I haven't tried it yet myself, but I watched some more vids on Izumik, and here are a few more ideas: people without fast redeploys and Virtuosa also kill small jellyfish with Dollkeepers (they don't die anyway), chain casters, fortress defenders (bc of range and AoE), reaper guards (more range), ambushers (my first thought actually was "fight Mizuki with Mizuki"). And, haven't seen or tried it yet, but - wouldn't Caper be OP here? It's a perfect stage for her to shine! Need to build her yet though.
But why we need to avoid blocking offsprings? Its much weaker after shifting to a random enemy. What if i block them at the red boxes so boss doesnt absorb them?
i got 3 artifacts relating to def/res and my ranged operators legit all got 2.5k def + 100 res during this operation lmao, def made it easy even on difficulty 18
Do anybody know which Surging Waves minimum difficulty level that I need to choose for getting this ending? I just got the route at Surging Waves 4, but srsly its too hard.

I tried it right away after watching this, although in the end I was unlucky and got a -1 block debuff, many operators got the 15s freeze debuff. But it's still very easy. well, if it weren't for Shu S3 and Ningtingale S2, I'm sure I would have failed becaude all operator will 100% die😂. (Speedrunning all IS 2-IS4, because i just started playing again not long ago, after a long break).

Best advice? Play the Jellyfish song from Spongebob next time. Make 'em stick around... Cause first time I got to this stage. Started okay, easy run all the way to and through floor 5. Stacked AF squad: E2 Horn, Reed Alter, Weedy, Exusiai, May, Lin, Cantabile, Utage, Angelina, Texas Alter, Irene, Saria, Goldenglow. And Ansel, Steward and Kroos. Full 13 ops roster available. Yet 6 of my ops got Concentration Disorder, activating skills automatically... Reed alter and Ansel, my only medics 😭 23 life points and the saddest ending I've had in an IS run... Watching 23 jellyfish just leak...
I tried your guide i only fought this boss once i follow some recommendation in the comments to but i ULTIMATELY FAILED i don't know how maybe because i don't have enough damage or lacking atk spd but god damn this boss is annoying
Ecko just said that the Jellyfishes transform into a random enemy when blocked. Ecko also had an artifact that inceases Op block count so Tex had 2 block and so 2 jellyfishes transform into 2 enemies.
I wish I see this guide before I tried. My texas and Yato all got -50% attack and worse I have zero artifact that boost damage or resistance. Even took the a few -%hp... The AoE was instant kill my e2 lv90 units and Texas Yato deal aalmost no damage to the adds lol... Epic fail.
@@tientranminh1479 I agree with you. I only finished the first ending of IS2 and the second one (the teddy bear boss) was bc I stacked many lives (I forget how many) and let the bear explode. IS3 is pretty chill tho bc you can choose the difficulties. Me myself is already finished the 3 endings in 7th ancession. My suggestion is to leave the IS2 temporarily and try the IS3 until you can get the better ops.
@@ramadanikurniawan8541 I can confirm IS3 is easier than IS2 Main reason being the stages are not as annoying as IS2. In IS2 you have normal stages with -75% DP regen rate and poison gas cloud stages, which if you don't get vanguard and medic class respectively, you're pretty much screwed.

compeleted this stage using 2 exce yato & red, godsenger, reed alter, eyja, skalter, gg and other. And it still feel fckn hard for me.

Have you tried it? I don't have Mlynar and meta fast-redeploys; Virtuosa would be my best bet as well, but I have just E2'ed her

If the AOE wiped you then you'll need more HP artifacts.
