I was so fed up when I saw this. I always check prices before buying.
If you think Skylander hunting is a nightmare I live in Korea, Skylanders never releasee here and I have to pay more to get them shipped to my appartment.
I'm so grateful that EU market/prices are much lower than the US market Echo is around 20/25, and I got the big 3 for less than 200 euros I even once saw Spotlight and Blackout for 40ish but didn't buy them because I thought I could find them for much less 😂

Facebook marketplace has been slightly better but still not great, the nearest ads are at least a 4 hour drive away

Today i got the superchargers sea racing pack sealed, sealed (although package slightly creased) short cut, and a *would've been sealed except the glue failed* trap shadow all for $55 CAD including shiping and tax. The hunt is just a bit harder for us but there are still deals to be found!
I did just find an excellent deal myself last night, 2 games for ps3, giants portal and superchargers portal, imaginators and superchargers for ps4, plus maybe 25+ figures for 40 bucks
And what's more BS is that gamelover states that they're the same prices that they bought it themselves, and sadly I'm a victim of gamelovers overpriced scams, and I spent over eighty dollars for superchargers for Wii u and donkey Kong and Bowser with their vehicles and shield striker and reef ripper. And he promised me gill runt, but I got series 1 gill grunt, and thats the second time I bought from them!!!!!!😡😡😡😡
But I did make a reserved listing with another and much better seller and he was kind enough to make me a reserved listing of Echo and High five for only 95 dollars. And I'm grateful for people like him
I just got back into everything after not playing since sf, tbh I do feel the want to collect stuff again but I can't help but feel the market is just a bit too high for what is it, especially for anything past SF. I feel the nostalga in my veins going through but idk if it worth getting the figures right away, i've been playing through emulators and emulated portal and I feel it is the best way to get back into the games if you're starting from square one, is the magic not as there as it was placing the toys on the portal? without a doubt. but other wise I wouldn't be able to play and experience the games how they should've been not these upcharged prices. Above all I wish I was getting back into things around 5 years ago when people just said it was dead and you could find lots for pennies, Much less being able to experience all the new characters or even the in game variants I missed out on but really wanted has been great I nuzlocked SSA and been playing Trap Team with my partner through parsec, its been great and when I can play locally I feel I'll probably go the nfc route as it really is that only route that makes sense. Maybe one day when everything relaxes a bit more and I have the money for it I can collect what I sold and get even more but until then I can settle with everything just be 1s and 0s in my pc

Meanwhile the people who just want to play the Skylanders and don’t care about the physical figures anymore can just buy a ton of NFC cards for MUCH cheaper and download dumps of Skylander files onto them. Secondhand market? What secondhand market?
