Good news I think its actually back in February not April my bad! Anyway hope you enjoy the video guys and let me know what you thought of this episode below!
An important detail that was excluded from the anime is that before Subaru arrived in the world, Kurgan was murdered by Regulus. Regulus invaded a fortress in the Empire, killing everyone who violated his rights, which included Garfiel's new foe, Kurgan. The author was asked how Regulus could defeat him, and he replied that fighting Regulus for him would be like trying to beat a metal Mario with no time limit. Making victory against Regulus is impossible for someone like him.
At last, the greatest fight in all of Re:Zero is here! Regulus vs. Reinhard, Subaru, and Emilia 🔥 it might not be everyone's favorite fight, but it's the undisputed best fight in the entire series, hands down. The most powerful character in the entire series vs the Strongest Sin Archbishop of the Witch's cult. The ultimate battle of absolute offense to defense. They've built up Regulus to be this impossible wall of a villain to overcome, just to put him against Reinhard, setting up what's be the most epic clash in the entire series. Nobody has been able to push either of these two inhuman entities back before and now it's time for them to push each other and watch the spectacle unfold 🔥
Man, waiting till February is literal torture. Lol, I kind of predicted that the caped swordsman was going to be Wilhelm's wife. Wilhelm's reaction when they first fought made it obvious, at least for me.
Re:Zero Season 3 will return in February for the remaining 8 episodes but fear not the 16 episode count for Re:Zero is only for arc 5. The total episode count is 38 episodes according to Ice who's the most trusted leaker in the Re:Zero community who first broke the news about Re:Zero Season 3 in the first place. After the next 8 episodes we'll be getting another 22 episodes for arc 6 😁
Nothing anyone says can ever make me hate Regulus 😭 putting aside his unparallel drip and overpowered authority, all of the other Archbishops in the current story are incomprehensible evil entities who are beyond understanding, yet Regulus is the exception. All of this is said through Tappei's Q&A's and aren't spoilers He's still evil, but he's the only one who you can have an actual conversation with. He still has a grasp on reality, making him he's a complete piece of shit. He, as well as others like Capella, match Tappei's concept for the Archbishops. The ones who weren't direct creations of brainwashing like Geuse are tragedy, but the person inside and the twisted stories they carry make them more hatable. Understanding them makes them even worse. I hope they don't cut his backstory because it really surmised who these people are. Scum to their very core, but tragedy codified the worst parts of their personality, turning them into the monsters we know now
