I love how down to earth they are because they both know day to day struggle because they grew up in it. Both are self-made individuals who grew up in loving and strict families that taught them a good moral and ethical code to live by. Both are family oriented and talk and act like normal people even after 8 years of an extremely un-ordinary life. That is why the world fell in love with them even if some of the policies or decisions were not favorable. With them, most people with common sense and etiquette ridiculed some policies they may have pushed, but never ridiculed them as "individuals". Your current President is another story though lol
