Growing up Robbie Keane was my personal absolute favourite (might have gathered I am a spurs fan by this point) but it’s only a shame he didn’t have more accolades to his name to boost him up but he was a brilliant striker as it is and will always be one of, if not my most, favourite players ever honestly. Lastly just a little mention for Santa Cruz, one truly standout season for Blackburn in the 07/08 season, I absolutely loved him and was a bit gutted it never really worked out at City for him but that team was a fun one to watch with the likes of; Friedel, Samba and Nelsen, Bentley, Pedersen, Tugay and Benni McCarthy.
Great video. Maybe Adebayor or Berbatov could have been mentioned. As for Rooney he is an underrated legend for sure and I don't think he was overshadowed by Ronaldo as you mentioned at least not in their whole time together. From 2004 to 2006 at least Rooney was better with bigger performances and a bigger name. During 06-07 up until 09 though of course he took a step back to Ronaldo and played a more complementary role.
