i am feel so fortunate to be related to him. i am from the bith village of Dolpopa , our village has just about less than 500 people and its very remote in dolpo himalaya.. people rarely visti my village but still now people in my village pilgrim the his birth place ..
This is a good explanation of Dolpopa's views, and it also explains the link between Hindu Tantra and Buddhist tantra. Abhinavagupta's concept of sunyatisunya is virtually identical to Dolpopa's view of the absolute reality Buddha nature. Bravo!
Dolpopas view is correct! I will try to explain for those who don't know this. Rangong's view says no slef but if this is so you are no different then a rock. However when you meditate or search for the self you cannot find and in Zen it is called no mind or no self. However the reason for this why they got is wrong is because mind cannot see mind just like the eye that sees cannot see itself. If we have no mind then we don't have Buddha nature and no need to save sentient beings etc. So Dolpopa said that we do possess Buddha nature Buddha mind. Our ultimate nature or self is Buddha nature wich is empty of everything else except itself it is empty of other. This is correct view. I will bring you an example when you have deep sleep and no five scadans are present where are you then? Buddha nature is always known without knowing it does without doing it. Just like in your deep sleep when you are not aware of anything you pull the blanket on your self or hug a pillow. That is you Buddha nature it is always present whether you are aware of it or not. I strongly recommend all of you to develop Bodhicitta as it is the key to your Buddha nature which is full of compassion love and other Buddha qualities. The Buddha nature is your ultimate self beyond conceptions. Thinking mind is limited to how far you can think but Buddha nature is beyond that so what you should do is meditate and merge you conscious mind with that which is unconscious. Not knowing is where the key to Buddha's nature lies. Don't know and you are there. If any1 wana to challenge me I am happy to provide some more insite.
I Agree with the teachings of Golpopa after reading the Lankavatara, Buddhavatamsaka, and the teachings of Shantarakshita and Vasubandhu. Dear Khentrul Rinpoche how may I be initiated and join the Jonang Sangha "Officially"? It would be a joy to help this school grow.
Interessant. Wer unterrichtet diese "Dharma des Goldenen Zeitalters" von Buddha Kunkyen Dolpopa Sherab Gyaltsen in Deutscher Sprache, oder Englisch übersetzt? Danke und LG.
In Khentrul Rinpoche's book series Unveiling Your Sacred Truth Book 1,2 and 3 it is talked about. The overview of the turning of the 3 wheels is introduced in Book 1. In the Wisdom section of Book 2, it talks about it more in relationship to emptiness.
ALL beings have authority the same! :) the talking about "merit" always makes/gives me a bad feeling. it sounds du.b and untrue. you are nothing higher then me.

Where can I find more information on the passages where Buddha prophesies Dolpopa?
The zhentong view sounds like the dzogchen view. Am I right ven. Rinpoche?
Can you please share some of the sutras that Buddha prophesied Dolpopa in, as well where in those sutras? 🙏🏽
Where can we find his teachings in the three wheels? Thank you for sharing. Much Metta to you and all..
