Very interesting, thank you. How does this player affect page load time? Is the full TH-cam player loaded for the default video, or only when the user clicks the play button?

The page load time isn't affected. And you have to click to play the video. You may need to add code for playing automatically (autoplay=1&mute=1). You can refer to this link www.w3schools.com/html/html_youtube.asp
