moonglow has such an interesting vibe and the storyline has so much magic and emotion to it. i thought your previous disciple ep was good enough but this, is just mindblowing. the music feels so delicately crafted and the storyline is the cherry on top. this is also one of the few eps i've ever heard that all of the tracks are 9/10 and above, with none falling short or being underwhelming. the emotional, fantasy atmosphere along with the effort and uniqueness makes this one of my favorite eps of all time. great job dude, i will never forget this.

Finally watched the full story experience with the lyrics and WOW this all hits incredibly hard! I interpret it as a parallel for artistry as purpose. As the world around you grows dull, there may be some euphoric peace in an achievement. And then there's that feeling of achieving all you wanted and realizing you're still not fulfilled and it was all hollow... been dealing with that on a small scale lately. All you can hope to do is use it to inspire others. Which this EP definitely has for me. Love the melodies and atmosphere.

So basically the summary of the story is child finds heart then contemplates life after finding it, nice. You know what's more nice, is Skybreak and others included on this putting all the effort into making this EP felt home. It was so reminiscent of Sky: Children Of The Light. Since I've joined that game in 2020, this EP struck at me as the story of that and Sky feels the same, in a good way. The journey, the darkness, the sudden flash of light, it was heartwarming. My favorites on the EP is soul shards (I like the jazzy part), crystal heart (a catchy and positive sounding track), and journey's end (what a tune to end this EP). The Porter Robinson vibes scattered throughout were really good. Not only that, if I've remembered, Amaryllis made the illustrations which works well with the music experience. Every artwork shown here is wallpaper-worthy. Yay, I have a contender for EP of the year now
The narration and ambience at 23:00 AND THE CUT-OFF was so cool Every single track in this was sick af!! Really cool work, really nice EP. Already been listening to the last track on loop all week lol.
Check out Light for the Wicked by Aethoro, aspect, Felimos, glasse, Stardew, Viznode & Unit333. Although it’s not color bass or future riddim, it is one of the most emotional and creative tracks that I’ve heard in my life. Both in terms of music and story
