It doesn’t help having your #1 corner in Jaire Alexander out. Or your quarterback coming back from injury. Or your offense scoring one touchdown in the first half while the other guys score four.
Jaire has missed one game, the pass rush has been bad all season
As a former defensive linemen I'll attest that your first job is to maintain your gap responsibility and win upfield. Reset the line of scrimmage. The new Hafley system is odd for anyone who hasn't seen it. Fire zones are difficult. Most dlinmen learn to play the run then turn to pass. This system is the opposite of that meaning you play the run after you've dedicated to the pas rush. They'll get better. It's an adjustment.
It is going slower than we thought but we did know it would take time for the new defense to get it together. GPG.
I sort of think that this is a very hit or miss pass rush in the same way the secondary is hit or miss, like the secondary is giving up some yards but getting hella picks the same way the pass rush isn't winning much but then causing turnovers when they do hit

YOU CAN JUST LOOK AT NUMBERS/STATS.... Context is everything and all you youtubers are lazy and just want to make money. Packers defensive line has been playing a containment scheme for rushing qbs this year, specifically the first two games and some of last game. The defense is playing on a string and thats why they are leading the league in take aways, (the most valuable defensive stat because you need the ball to score). The D Line has been sacrificing numbers to play within an overall scheme that they are working through and still looking great in. The Vikings got away in the first half but you saw when they were unleashed against Tennessee they recorded 8 sacks. It's only 4 weeks in, chiiillll... And do your research. Matt LeFleur and Jeff also confirmed this strategy in their interviews, but you can see it clearly if you watch the games that they are containing the qb vs pass rushing and creating lanes for them to run.

I hated Gary from day 1! If you’re that much or a superior athlete than your competition and you have like 3 sacks I 4 years that mean your probably stupid and don’t understand the game. You don’t know how to win. He’s had half of 1 season that was above average but has never been elite especially for any period longer than a game or 2
