Another great video! One other thing to add is that Thada Adel can also just leave the artifact in exile forever. Maybe not the best idea since you're not gaining value, but permanently removing a Lion's Eye Diamond or Basalt Monolith or Time Sieve from an opponent's deck can sometimes be effective.
Cards like Spreading Seas can be usefull for those games were there are no lands in play with island basic type to turn on the islandwalk on specific opponents... it also works as cantrip and can be used fuel various blue free spells when not needed
I may try this deck! I really enjoy mono blue. It always seems like the best mono color.. well until people play carpet of flowers or dockside :D Thanks for sharing.
what i am confused is why don't more decks just run thada adel in the 99? i know in the past you didn't have that many options to grab with it outside of another mana rock; however, with more players just putting in the one ring, phyrexian metamorph, and time sieve to some degree, i have decided to put it into basically any deck that runs blue. it works like a slow fabricate, and i think it should be as ubiquitous as carpet of flowers. good job to pontus on explaining thada wants to get the one ring. that's what i would do.
Where are your stats coming from? I play a Higure deck that steals dockside and does sakashima’s student loops. I’m always curious about the odds of people running things in certain colors. Similar to this deck, it plays off of opponents. Thus these stats would be really helpful to me. Great video as always!
I get them from this site. edhtop16.com/?tourney_filter__size__%24gte=64&tourney_filter__dateCreated__%24gte=1659422080&colorID=null But to be more correct I calculat it myself. You have decklists and winrate from decklists. So I look at how many decks play the one ring and calculat things. If you want I can give you the numbers of any card you want to help you out. I currentlyu sit with a lot of data on a lot of different cards. But I do recommend asking my on discord. Or make a new comment. Don't answer to this comment. Just comment on a video saying "Could you tell me the WINRATE and inclusion rate of this card" The reason is that youtube is a bad place to hold conversation. This conversation will dissaper for me among all comments. So better to write on discord or make a new comment.
Playing a shorikai poly + dramatic reversal deck that run one ring with the keyes. Have one key + one ring + unwinding clock means I've drawn 55 cards total during my next turn. Basically a PitA 🤣
Could you make a deck tech video of Tasigur? I subscribed a year ago after watching your Tasigur Cedh reanimator deck. He isn’t as powerful in the current meta, but I would love an updated video Please and thank you!!
After looking at some statistics his winrate is saddly 11% something. Tasigur is not preforming well in tournaments currently. I do have plans to look into commander that are struggling like Tasigur but more like a collective.
You should try out Mishra, eminent one as it loves coveted jewel and is a cool bolas deck in cedh... I'ts the deck i played the most and its won me so many games against tivit, magda, korvold, Atraxa, kenrith, malcolm, Yuriko, Ob nixilis etc.

I put her in my Yuriko build for that same reason.
Sometimes that is a good decision.
Thada was my very first attempt at cEDH in like 2017. ha I love seeing this!
Very cool seeing you post this, I’ve been playing thada for a few months now and she is very fun when people don’t know what she is up to
Yeah I think people could get a bit surprised seeing her. People think she is casual. They don't see a combo comming and BOOM mega card draw!

Tchuuuut! You are speaking about my minn, wily illusionist deck that i try to build cedh! 😅 😂
This is a hilarious concept
I know right!
displacer kitten returns the blinked permanent to its owner's control, not necessarily the original controller
She’s been great in my Raffine deck! Definitely snags a lot of Wishclaws like you mentioned.
I may try this deck! I really enjoy mono blue. It always seems like the best mono color.. well until people play carpet of flowers or dockside :D

Your welcome!
Nice tech on that type of game plan

Might be a bit to slow. Could be great if the meta allows it. I wouldn't personally be against it.

Do we think Thada Adel is good enough to include in the 99? Maybe in Tivit that already likes having rogues.
I am not sure about that. Big maybe. If the metagame gets more grindy yes.
I was brewing an Ioreth deck that does this same basically
Playing a shorikai poly + dramatic reversal deck that run one ring with the keyes.
Have one key + one ring + unwinding clock means I've drawn 55 cards total during my next turn. Basically a PitA 🤣
This deck might be pretty funny to play

@@cedhtv looking forward to seeing that video
Did you try polymorph? Could search displacer kitten as i'ts your main combo if i get this right and you could go hullbreaker if you wanted to

hi
hi!
Are you a Data scientist?
No. Saying that I study it currently is also wrong. But I am currently looking into asking people how to make this more professional.
Stop giving away all my cards!! Lol
Don’t tell anyone about teferi who slows the sunset
haha sorry!
