Patsy Cline was the very best female country singer of all time. No one can come close to her! I’ve heard others try to duplicate her sound, but they can’t hold a candle to what she did. There’s no telling how big she would have become if she had lived. I loved her music when it came out and I still do. RIP Patsy Cline! The world lost a great performer the day you died. Thank you so much for this video; really enjoyed it!!
She had a voice like no other. You are right about no telling how big of a star she would have been if she lived. Such a loss when she was killed in the plane accident. Her fans still write her letters. Thanks so much for watching and commenting.
me and her son drove up there in 1979 from Nashville, we grew up together, her mother carried us in the house back then, not restored. She told us some great stories of talent scouts coming in the house, one even fell off the inside steps living room trying to talk to Patsy, were very high steps.
Patsy had such an amazing voice! Her music still lives on! If you ever have a chance to visit her home and gravesite don't pass up on the opportunity. Love Patsy! Thanks for watching and commenting.
Patsy will never be forgotten. She made ways for other female singers. Her voice was as sweet as it gets. I love this beautiful women and all of her songs. She is singing for the Lord.
A voice of an angel for sure! So much talent that left us way too soon. She made the way for many female singers, even today. Appreciate you watching and commenting.
Thanks so much. It was a great tour! Of course they want you to take the pictures instead of videos so it makes more work with the editing. Really enjoyed seeing the Patsy Cline Historic House. Thanks for watching and commenting.
I went to college in Winchester 40 years ago. I just visited there last month. Great Video. I lived around the corner my last year in college. Also down the street from Gaunts Drug Store where Patsy worked
"Town And Country Jamboree" originated out of the studios of WMAL-TV (Now WJLA-TV), channel 7 in Washington (4461 Connecticut Ave N.W., (the former Chevy Chase Ice Palace)), where they remained for many years. The transmitter back then was on the campus of American University. (The tower is still in use by WTOP-FM. WAMU-FM. and WPFW-FM) Reception on that TV must've been spotty until WSVA-TV (Now WHSV) hit air in 1953. I like the authenticity of this museum. Patsy Cline had a couple of hits crossover onto the pop and Top-40 charts. This is very different from your usual videos. But, still a quality work! God Bless!
We enjoy the history of country music. We were so glad to finally be able to get to Patsy Cline's house and to show our respects to her at the cemetery. We have not been to Camden, Tennessee to see the memorial at the crash site but would like to. Thanks for watching and commenting.
We would agree with you that she is one of the greatest female country music singers of all times. Her amazing sound still is popular today. Thanks for watching and commenting.
I love her music they will not be a woman like her no more she was very beautiful and pertty woman ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ I will always play her music may God bless her and her family Aman
This is such a great video! So informative and organized 😊👍. It flowed really well and I learned so much! Will share w my Mom - she loved her and I grew up listening to “Crazy” so much!
Thank you for your kind words. Even though it was a shorter video it did take us awhile to put it together. We really enjoyed visiting Patsy's house and imagining what it must have been like for her living in the house. Her voice is timeless and her music is still enjoyed by so many. Thanks for watching and commenting.
We absolutely loved this video. We were hooked from your clever intro that included references to some of her biggest hits. We had no idea that she lived in 19 different homes throughout her childhood. We thoroughly enjoyed seeing the pictures that y’all took along with the storytelling of each piece of memorabilia. It was neat to see items from her childhood as well as items that were part of her adult career and on her albums. Thanks for taking us to see her adult home and her grave site. This was such a great video and we really enjoyed it.
We love going to places that are smaller and more personal. It wasn't very commercialized and you felt like the house was accurately depicted. It was also great that we were able to pay our respects at the cemetery. Have y'all ever been to Camden to the Crash Site Memorial? Thanks for all your kind words. We appreciate y'all so much!
Would have loved to have Patsy in the background singing but that will get us a copyright strike and affect our channel. We love Patsy's music and trust me if we had our way it would be on here playing. Thanks for watching and commenting. Have a great weekend!

She had good musicians backing her up and won Arthur Godfrey show as it was rigged in her favor.
