I just found a baby bull snake on my living room floor. They kill rattle snakes when they are older so I just scoop them up and put them outside ( I'm in the mountains ) but I have also had 2 rattlesnakes that I have seen passing through. One was aggressive so we had to kill it to protect the barn cats, and dogs.
