13:58 - That could have been a loss right there 😅 "Boss. Boss! BOSS, DUDE!" Glad I'm not the only one trying to play two supporters in the same turn, lol.
Awesome list! I think the optimal capsakid might be SVI, in some cases it can search and attach a fire energy to itself first turn going second. OBF capsakid can do 10 damage to itself, but has 50 hp, and that's not much damage anyway. Honestly, I'd play 3 different 70-hp capsakids in the deck for kicks. Why does pokemon print so many capsakids?
Thank you! You're right. I seem to have picked the least helpful capsakid for my deck. Lmfao. I just took the one from the set, I should've checked. Yeah I don't know this is the second Scovillain ex card we're getting and I think 4th in total so they seem to like it.
Just one line, the decklist is in the information box below the vid ifyou're interested. I played against 4 chien pao decks on stream and and realized I needed it.
not bad, i've got this deck locked in and have been using it for almost a week and at 75% win rate. kricketune, adds 40 more hp to all your grass pokes, this is critical for scov ex to stay alive. frossass, not only does this help damage your scov ex, damages them. evolution tool, arvin turn 1. magma turn 2 and everything gets the ko toadscruel is a good idea, but the cards above are way more consistent and dang sure for meta also, i would much rather use gastrodon from the new set over toad to lock out their pidgeot ex and all stage 2 abilities in game
@@Kevin-vh6nn That's dope. Love the frosslass and kricketune, those are both so intuitive in different ways. Yeah gastrodon might be a good one for pidgeot ex but i put the toedscruel in as a counter to chien pao ex who seems to be a tough matchup. That gastrodon is pretty sick though, does it nullifying abilities counter the frosslass damage or naw?
Maybe the first guy has been playing a lot of pocket and just forgot about deck out. I only recently got back into the tcg the small differences between the two can throw you off.

Yeah that one was painful. xD

Wait. Where did the toadscruel come from ? It's a good idea though. How many in the deck ?

Could probably lower the energy count by a bit and throw in some damage pumps to make it more consistent.
That's a thought. Could use Dodrio for draw and damage generation or something.
Yeah that could work too.
Finally somebody made this deck. Add some Victini too.
Thing about Victini, is that she doesn't fix math, so she feels unnecessary in a deck like this.
Do you think Victini would increase the centiscorch bench damage from 30 to 40? That could be big.
@@BeretBrent It also has a low hp so it could restrict your ability to use centiscorch in certain situations.
@@mdtpokemon Victini says that your fire pokemon do 10 more damage to your opponent’s active. So it wouldn’t work.
@@BeretBrent Ah fair enough
You could have started knocking out the roaring moon in the first match with boss order and iono the turn after
he couldn't retreat or attach 2 energy to attack. Magma only attach to bench
Very similar to the build I made nice man
I only ran 8 energy, popped in a Fez and a Mew for free retreat, I also run lucky helmets to help with the draw this deck lacks.
@@itsDragonBane That sounds sick! I like the amount of draw there.
