I am confused, if the ummayads were, constantly at war with holy progeny of holy prophet ﷺ . Then how can there be any "good" in them. This makes no sense

This is an important and valid question. Historical events, especially those involving the Umayyads, are complex and often require a nuanced understanding. While there were undoubtedly grave injustices, some members of the dynasty contributed to the preservation of Islamic sciences and governance. It’s essential to approach such topics holistically while acknowledging the wrongs committed. May Allah guide us to understand history in its entirety.

21:59 he is declining the existence of sufyani and if he comes out in this Rajab these people will be first ones to consider him as their caliph

I understand your concerns. Discussions about the Sufyani are based on interpretations of prophecy and hadith, which are sometimes symbolic rather than literal. The video aims to explore the topic without claiming absolute certainty. Allah knows best, and we must strive for knowledge with humility.

22:01 the only thing that is fishy is this dude suggesting or implying sufyani does not exist

Thank you for pointing this out. The existence of Sufyani is indeed a matter of discussion among scholars, with varying interpretations of hadith regarding him. The video aims to present one scholarly perspective, but this doesn’t negate others. We encourage open-minded discussion to understand differing viewpoints on this subject

I now listen to YQ with a critical ear... he and many others are leaning towards modern day liberalism

Certainly, it’s important to approach our favorite scholars and figures with a critical mindset. Scholars like Dr. Yasir Qadhi always present their messages with depth and knowledge. If you’re noticing elements of modern liberal trends in his statements, it could be a great opportunity to engage with his ideas more openly and see how they align with or challenge your own beliefs. Knowledge and critical thinking always expand one’s perspective, and it’s essential to benefit from the depth of Dr. Yasir Qadhi’s knowledge while also reflecting on it thoughtfully.

This explanation of the events surrounding the Arab Spring is overly simplified. There is much more to understand about the complexities of Islamic governance.

Thank you for your feedback! You're absolutely right that the topic is highly complex, and it's difficult to cover all aspects in a single video. I appreciate your perspective, and I'd love to hear your insights on areas I could explore further. JazakAllahu Khair!
