I'm looking at it from the viewpoint of someone considering taking up shooting.
(Not me I've been shooting for decades).
You get a gun with a 5 year warranty.
That isn't known for having lots of faults.
That though built to a price, has an appeal and style together with features you'd expect to find on a gun with a higher price tag.
For someone starting out what are the options a well cared for used gun that retailed at a couple of thousand quid now priced at £6-700.
Or a £900 new gun with a 5 year warranty that looks and shoots like something worth more?
What we need is more people taking up shooting and anything that promotes that is worth shouting about.

Myself I would put £300 to £400 pounds more and get a beretta 686 or 687

All together the Yildiz Sporter has a very complete design. All the features you need.

Interesting video - spec and price appears very similar to the ATA Supersport Adjustable - I’d like to see them side-by-side as this is a key price point for new shooters not wanting to risk too much money or buy secondhand.
People will say “buy a secondhand beretta/browning/etc” but many want a new gun which is steelproof with a warranty, so this is a good area to explore for new shooters - thanks for the video as it helps people make a more informed choice.

I must say that if i was starting out id go for a good condition cheaper second hand gun not a new one , once youve shot a few clays etc you can then move on to another gun that suits your requirements more , .

I am a synthetic stock guy myself, wood is wood. There is a lot of brand snobbery around guns which ultimately hurts our sport.

It's not bad, I wish we could get it in the US. It's getting to the point where now I'm like, okay, just go buy a Ruger red label, put a new stock on it.... They're like $1,500 here. Give or take 1,000 or two. They are damn near indestructible. Made so that you can pull out your Swiss army knife and work on them. But you can get them for like 1,000 if you don't mind them not having any sort of stock. Then have a stock put on it, I would do a black walnut, I like that a lot better than European walnut. I guess that's just kind of where I'm at right now. I know I could have a really reliable gun, with really good wood for 2000 to $2,500

No offence but I wouldn’t be listening to your massively positive review on the account that you seem to be sponsored by them but that’s a guess as you don’t seem to mention that you are except the intro screen , a sales man will always give a good review wether that’s bias or because it’s a good product

Pretty underhand not to make any associations with Yildiz clear at the outset.

How much more flippin obvious do you want the Yildiz logo on the opening? 😂
For £900 brand new, name something better.

      @@THEHOLYNERF ATA Sporter
David is ‘No BS’ with every gun that is a Browning or a Yildiz. When holding a Beretta he acts as if he’s got a turd in his hands. You can tell that they probably slighted him in the past and he’s holding a grudge about it

@@THEHOLYNERF The new W&S guns, similar price for a Turkish gun or a Bettinsoli is similar price and Italian. Intact the W&S 1000 is a bettinsoli. So much better guns are available. I agree really underhand and dishonest not to be clear and upfront able sponsors.

In your honest opinion would you buy this £900 Yildez over an old Beretta 687 silver pigeon S.

Doesn't look any different to my 22 that I bought for my 14year old to shoot. It actually shoots well for a cheap sporter.
And fit and finish is fine at the price point. Only Next to my miroku that was over 3x the price you see its slight imperfections.

I’ve just unsubscribed from this channel as I no longer trust the information given. David only promotes the products he is sponsored by or the ones he gets a better deal on in the shop. The information given is not unbiased or honest. This is not an information channel, it’s a sales pitch.
If you want good, unbiased information, look elsewhere….

Hey Americans, be sure you understand that this gun is NOT the Yildiz Sporting HPS sold by Academy stores here in the U.S. These Academy-sold shotguns are supposed to be warranted too. It might be warranted but if you can't get parts, warrantees are essentially worthless. Furthermore, Academy doesn't have the greatest reputation for helping Yildiz customers out either. I know two people that own the Yildiz Sporting HPS, me and a friend. I have about 200 rounds though mine and all is well so far (knock on wood). My friend had the barrel lug fall off as he was shooting and the forearm fell off. Took it to Briley (the only U.S. warranty center for Yildiz) and they told him they would not fix it and he needed a new barrel. Good luck with that! He ended up taking it to a gunsmith who said they could weld the lug back on for about $100. Caveat emptor!
