To the left up near the top is a round hole I started it after it sat for a while I got it from my daughter who said it wouldn't start and she gave it to me some liquid came out that had kind of a funky smell and squirted out towards the wall of the garage is that the exhaust hole? and should fluid be shooting out of there if it's been sitting awhile?
Had mine for 12 years. I change the oil every year and run it dry at the end of the season. Never an issue until this year. Pull handle string broke and I smelled burning rubber because some ice got caught up in the auger. Changed out the belts, changed the spark plug, and replaced the starter cord. Still runs like it’s brand new.
I bought one of these from a friend as he moved to Florida. He used it only a couple of times, looks new. Used only 100% fuel that he bought from Hardware store. I tried starting it, I hit the prime pump several times. Sounded like I was only pumping air. I never got that resistance feel as fuel is pumped in to the carb. I knew it wouldn't start, but I tried (electrical start) a bunch of times, hoping that maybe a little gas reached the carb. Never got fuel to pull through to the carb. finger covered the little hole in the center of primer button. I pushed it slow, and hard and fast, never drew fuel. What should I check please?

I have the 2410 for the laser 4 years and could not be happier with it,starts with one pull,but then again I run it completely dry in spring
