I am curious: Are you Indian or Pakistani? You mentioned Delhi and Lucknow a couple of times to source your dish. So I thought maybe. I am Indian - from Delhi, but resident in New York for 40 plus years. Have spent several months in the aggregate in Karachi and have been a delighted traveler through Lahore, Murree, Islamabad, Rawalpindi and a couple more cities. The incredible friends I have made in Pakistan are very very dear to me.
