MY FEET STILL HURT! | BACKCOUNTRY ARCHERY ELK HUNT | PUBLIC LAND

Opening weekend of our 2018 archery elk season in Idaho. This hunt is solely do it yourself, over the counter tag on public land. We were blessed with filling our tag on the third day of this hunt at almost 10k feet elevation. The grueling pack out was almost 10 miles as a crow flies with 4,000 feet of elevation drop.
