Wheel of Fortune Rolling Ball Sculpture

  • Free standing rolling ball sculpture made by artist Boris Atanasovski, named "Wheel of Fortune".
    It is made of TIG welded stainless steel.
    It uses 25mm (1") and 16mm (2/3") glass marbles.
    It features elements: helical lift, wheel of fortune, spirals (golden, large and flat), tipping arm, skipping ball, ball collector, loops, wavy tracks, balls on track (Newton´s cradle) - all connected with nice tracks.

    I really like your sculptures. I want one. I also had an ideal for one ,,, make it out of "Black" steel with white marbles and then set about six black lights around it. I think that would be wild.

      Thank you. Uranium glass balls under the black light would be best for that

    one of the few rolling ball machines to include mill wheel component I could connect that component with some gears to add more visual effects

      I made this one in a month because of the deadline. It was a killer tempo, min 12h per day, everyday. I will not repeat that for sure :) Now, i need two months for a sculpture like that.

      Ha HA It did cross my mind to put a seat in a giant transparent sphere and roll it down the tracks. Well, one can do a downhill run in a Zorb...

      Thank you for your comment. There is never too much close up :) but I agree it would be good to have another video with the sculpture operating with original sound. I do this now, but back then I only made a musical video.
