    Awesome! So glad you followed through on this tutorial! I need to sit down and watch this again (and again) with my EQ8 software open. I’ve had it about six months but have not really done much with it. I am excited that made this. I know it was a lot of work for you. Thanks so much!

      You are very welcome, Sue! I’m planning on making more videos also for the various features. You can do it! It gets easier the more you play around with the software. 💖

    Hey there from Georgia! I’m very excited to have found your TH-cam channel. Thank you for this video about the software. I have been looking to purchase the software. I look forward to seeing more videos about the EQ8 software. Thank you soooo much!

    I cannot thank you enough for making your video on using Elmer's Glue. I was nervous about trying it. I practiced on paper and found by holding the tip of the glue bottle down close to the paper, really holding it on the paper itself, I could achieve a smaller
    amount to stream out. I have just finished a table runner using this method, and oh my gosh I'm feeling mighty grateful to you. Thank you ..... thankyou!

    I have had my EQ software since it’s original version in DOS! I upgraded every new version, and am loving version 8! It has paid for itself in preventing fabric choice disasters (like you mentioned).

    • @StitchObsessed

      Yes! I love the flexibility to try out different fabrics and colors. Plus it’s just plain fun! 💖

    I have EQ 8, but have not spent the time (a rare commodity!) on truly learning it. Recently I needed to design a quilt with appliqué blocks, with images drawn by a friend. I attempted to use the trace feature, and managed fairly well, until it came to saving the blocks. If you could go over the drawing and tracing features, and how to save blocks so that you can find them again (!) I would be ever so grateful!
    Thank you for your wonderful videos! The glue basting one is a major game changer!

      I can definitely do a video all about the tracing feature and saving projects! Thank you for the suggestion! 💖

    Can you show us how you go from designing to putting together a block from scratch?

    Hi Miriam. This software is amazing! how long does it take you to make a quilt of the size?

    • @StitchObsessed
      @StitchObsessed  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey, Zelda! The time it takes to make a quilt will really depend on the complexity of the blocks and how quickly you cut and sew. And I can definitely make a video on how to design a block and then make it. That would be a fun one! Thank you for watching as always 💖

    Hello from Qaqortoq, Greenland. I purchased EQ8 a couple of weeks ago. I am trying to figure it out but it looks like it's going to take some doing to learn my way around it. It reminds me a lot of Autocad though. Enjoyed the video!!

    Thank you for this video. I have a hard time sitting through the EQ8 official videos. Idk what you differently 😆 could you make more on EQ8? I just got it, and I'm kind of struggling with it.

    Great video! Thanks! I just got mine three days ago and im having a blast. Mine diesnt show the fabric and color swatches at the bottom like yours does, but it might be a setting or something.
