Nice review mate. I've been thinking of buying a couple of Vespid kits, but always wondered what the quality was like...Now i know! Ebay here i come! Model on my friend.. 👍
I commanded 4C in Vietnam, hull number 169108 which should appear on the glacis plate and on the back of the 100 gallon fuel tank. Looks like only the number 169007 has been supplied on the decal sheet. The vehicle currently resides at the Australian War Memorial Annex at Mitchell in Canberra and is still in running condition. Sadly, due to the pathetic OH&S nanny state this nation has become, when I took my grandsons to see it, we were not allowed on it due to the OH&S fun police! In addition to the decals for the tank, it had a name on the right side only of the barrel, "Iron Outlaw," red capital letters with white borders, so without it, the model is not quite complete. Sorry, I can't post an image of the artwork. Concerning the jerry cans on the engine decks, we carried one steel can with petrol and the rest were plastic for water. It's hard to tell but the commander's cupola seems not to be in the correct position. If the turret is at 12 o'clock, to allow the commander's sight to be in line with the barrel. the peri-binos should be at 3 o'clock. From the video it seems they are closer to 2 o'clock. Still, it looks like a great kit and I might have to investigate getting one!
Please do pop an email to theartificerchannel@gmail.com I would love to have a further convo. For the time being I know that star decals has come out with a recent new 1/72 scale decal sheet for centurions in Vietnam please take a look at www.star-decals.net/72-A1075.html look forward to hearing from you and thank you for your service! 😎👍🏻🫡
@@theartificerchannel2110 well done that man! But I must confess, that was after I left Vietnam. 4 Troop was the first troop to be decommissioned and the tanks were reallocated to different troops, thus giving it another callsign, as the more problem vehicles were prepared for shipment back to Oz, where the tanks were stripped of everything, and in the process I had a commander's hatch fall on my left hand breaking 3 fingers. Fortunately, my hand was right next to the hinge, had it been opposite, it might have crushed all 4 fingers. However, at least you can see the Iron Outlaw artwork but remember, it was only on the right side of the barrel. Cheers

Should be a cool project this Centurion . Have fun with ! Robert
Excellent review. I might look for this kit. The PE looks manageable.
Thank you! Yes do! The price range wasn't to bad either
I knew what artificer was without looking it up, what do I win? My mate is a weapons artificer on board a royal navy sub.
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
