      @@joshuaduffney I loved it, I'm gonna make mine something Similar. I have one more request though, only if you think its good enough to make a whole video on it. I'm learning web development, currently going through Javascript fundamentals and I love taking notes. There are so many resources to learn particular concept. What I do is whichever click for me I put it in my notes. Some say it's worthless to take notes while learning programming, they say there's already documentation available, why bother taking notes. As you are already in the field, you know better. Can you please make a video on how to take notes while learning programming ?

    So what do you use now?

    I used Obsidian heavily, but on my corpo contrats, I can't use it. That's why it seems promising.

      HA! Just googled it to hear the proper pronunciation. :facepalm I've been saying it wrong for months! Thank you for the correction! Reminds me of a manager I once had who has been saying FML instead of FMLA.

    Joshua Duffney, ( you handsome devil you). Caught your working session on logseq with OneStutteringMind (you guys were awesome, much admiration). I'm digging the Time-blocking using logseq, and so naturally I have one question. Do you do anything like that using Dendron? i.e. timeblocking, task, todos, meeting notes, or scheduling (day and week ahead, vis-a-vis Ca's TimeBlocking Journal). Thank you in advance for any advice. 🤜🤛

      I apologize for missing this comment and thank you for the kind compliment. :) I don't use time blocking or scheduling in Dendron but I do heavily use todos. There is another vscode ext called Todo tree that I use to keep track of my tasks in the various project notes. My timeblocking and scheduling have moved back to pencil and paper in a bulletjournal or weekly planner.

      @@joshuaduffney No worries at all Joshua, I understand that you're busy and I appreciate your time in (FIRST) making ad sharing great content, and (second) making the time for this follow-up feedback. I hate to admit it, but every Electronic system sometimes times gets in the way of itself. I'll check out Todo Tree (I'm interested) and I'm feeling you on getting back to paper and BJ-planner. Having walked the walk, I can appreciate the benefits of analog systems. Thank you again, you don't even realize how much you're helping.

    • @joshuaduffney

      At the moment, I use Dendron for my technical notes and Apple notes for the rest of it with the P.A.R.A method. :)

    Interesting… had never heard of dendron. Now everything can live in VSCode.

      It's nice to work within the same tool and not have yet another app to manage and maintain, but the markdown preview and navigation could use some improvement.

    Normalize not saying "my OCD" unless you're actually diagnosed.

    • @botousai
      @botousai ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I have OCD and don't care at all if people use it in that way. The usage doesn't make me break down and think about my own OCD issues.

      @@botousai I have diagnosed OCD and it's not about whether it triggers you or not. OCD is already widely understood so there's nothing wrong with encouraging proper usage instead of co-opting it because, "I'm so neat lol"
