Seeing all these new Hoyoverse games just makes me sad that the girl that was ever present in all games as the truly beloved girl from Mihoyo, basically mascot (from FlyMe2theMoon to Honkai 3rd) is no longer present or just a background character... I miss Kiana...
I mean kiana is the unknown god in genshin we will see her near the end of the game And Maybe we will see kiana and mei in future planets to come in starrail

And her leader ability for psychic is so damn good with Haxxor Bunny and Phoenix Fu hua and Umbral Rose Rita ❤️ I can go on 😂

I think you not wrong though and it's isn't exclusive to Hook, as personally i felt like Star Rail able to make the 3D character more inline with their artwork which could mean either because movement wasn't as free and varied they could create more detail character or/and the engine they use is an updated engine of the one they use in Genshin
To me Is weird that they let you use normal Attack combos, with pretty detailed animations and then the combat Is a turn based game, so my big questione Is: Did they put those animation cause there Will be some action combat battles/gamemodes( like honkai or genshin)? Or were all the fights turn based in the beta?( They can still add this modes in the final product, i know that this was an early beta).
