Hi, so the way it works in Germany is that DHL Express clears customs for you and then you pay the delivery person at the door the amount. They also charge 6€ fee for that "service" on top of the 19% tax you pay to customs. It's slightly annoying because you have to pay CASH and they usually don't have change. I would advice you to download and use the DHL app and put in the tracking number to know when the package will arrive. Get out enough bills and coins to be able to pay!
