Music helps us get through life in so many ways. God knows I'd be in much worse places had I not had the opportunity to discover, experience and keep this all to myself. It became a proverbial safe haven for me when I needed to escape the world, when I wanted to enjoy it, and when I wanted to just exist within the moment itself. Those who get it, will get it. And if they don't.. that's a great loss on their part. Some things are meant to be shared, some aren't. Some shared things have to be conditional. Some can be just thrown outright. I dare say that something like this is absolutely conditional. Depends on what it means to you. Many people keep very great and meaningful things to themselves, and very rarely share them because they mean that much to them. I treat this like that. Perhaps others see it the same way. In the end, there's always this congregation of people here amongst the comments who see it the same way. We may not be relatives by blood and friends with long track records, but in a way we don't need to be. We all enjoy this. We all get it, even if we don't. We're not truly alone, and we don't have to be..

The last track 1:22:24 always makes me sad. It’s like an end anthem to a golden era if you grew up in the 80s and 90s. Everything during those special decades are now a long and never forgotten part of our happiness, lost within a distant memory.

How could I have known the way time would ferment the memories of these long, meandering family trips into such vague, nostalgia fueled dreams of childhood peace and comfort. The emotion our minds seem to attach to sounds and music is simply marvelous, if maybe a tad overwhelming at times.
