after you realize this was one of the first songs Hayley wrote for the AL, it gets even sadder.
I’m glad they finally dropped this cause it brings me so many memories from the AL era, the feelings, melodies, even the Whitney Houston vibes… God I love this band. ❤

Paramore literally never misses. Genuinely the only complaint I have about this is that it's the only B-Side because I need more.
I'm sure you already know but there's a full album on TH-cam of Paramore b-sides & unreleased songs from over the years, I think the channel is called Silvia Fumagalli. It's great if you've not heard it before, almost feels like you're getting another Paramore album🙂

I can’t stop listening to this song. One of the comments said this is a perfect transition from AL to This Is Why and I couldn’t agree more. Kept the dance vibes with the deep lyrics… I love it.

This song gives me an After Laughter vibes, and I love it. AL is my favorite Paramore album. I can see why it is just a demo. The band wanted to do something different in This Is Why, which I respect. Solid first remix album from them.

Well, a demo isn't really the same thing as a single. A single being what I think you meant to say, since you referred to it not quite fitting into This Is Why. A demo, in this context (I think), essentially just means the band doesn't feel like they're finished with this track yet but wanted to release it as is anyway. Which kind of implies that we MIGHT eventually see a new, fully produced, and mastered version of this track someday. That would be incredible. That being said, this track definitely sounds finished and ready to be released on an album or even just as an official single to me, so I'm not 100% sure why they chose to put that it's a demo in the title. But it has to mean something, or else they wouldn't have done it that way. So yeah, I'd say it's definitely possible that we might see a new recording of this song appear on an album someday. Either that, or they just didn't want a studio recording of this song to go unheard, so this is where they put it even with it being in an unfinished state. Idk, you can tell I've had a lot of questions about it since it released. It's such a mystery to me, lol..
Funny, After Laughter is probably my least-favorite Paramore album, but that's kind of an overstatement, considering that I think that it's very good, like a 4/5. This band is just that good. This song sounds, as others have mentioned, like a bridge between After Laughter and This Is Why to me
