Oh! I just left a comment on your previous video 😅 glad to see another one. I also received a bunch of Holbein Acryla gouache this week along with Holbein gansai watercolor that I want to try. I don’t know the brand Roman Szmal, hope to see a painting with them in the future to get your opinion.
Yay, are you planning to do swatch videos on TH-cam? I never get bored of watching swatching sessions! I recently discovered Roman Szmal, and even though I had heard about his paints being great, I had never tried them before. Now that I have, I don't think I'll ever look back. Not only are his paints exquisite, but they are also much more affordable than some other high-end brands. I think I'll be sticking with him for my future painting endeavors, along with some Schmincke, a bit of Rembrandt, and maybe some Maimeri Blue.
@@rampant.hare.illustrations Well I will add the Roman Szmal watercolors on my list of “to try” paints, but I have so many! 😅 I personally love Schmincke watercolors and Holbein… they are my two favorite watercolor brands. I do not intend to do a swatching video of my Acryla gouache because I recently did a review of the Mossery x Sibylline art kit which contains Acryla gouache already so doing a swatching video again would be redundant I think.
Video was very calming. Interested to see what you make with all the colours. I recently added more acrylic gouache to my collection to paint a birthday gift for a family member. That’s great you got the free paper pads too
