i have the FINDX PRO . i took it out to a park here in lower AL. cleaned up all the coins in a small area. . I set it on beach mode to notch out the 0-20 signals. I had no problems with depth or getting a solid ID number and sound. I'm not in favor of big coils so I got the SX24 coil and will test that tomorrow. i also prefer a sliding arm cuff for a more comfortable adjustment from elbow to hand. everything else is pretty much like the simplex I got many yrs ago and have sold. so there was not much of a learning cure. I do not have the new simplex series, but for my $ $ $, the FINDX PRO will perform as good as they do. it was pretty easy to set up, but did notice that with the big coil the lower plastic shaft tends to wobble if not careful when detecting and swinging the coil.. and be very careful if in rough terrain. That was another reason the smaller coil will be more suitable for the parks i detect. it is only available on Amazon and the stock goes fast. If wanting a FINDX PRO get it when you see it available. when i get to the beach, i'll leave the smaller coil on and see how it goes. Sorry to see your injury and i advise all detectorist to get a tetanus shot.
Well it's a single frequency machine 15 khz it's more like a Simplex but pretty much all automatic except for sensitivity and ground balance I do not know how good it is at the beach normally you need a multi-frequency machine for that but they might have tuned it in so it works great on the beach

Yes I couldn't remember I'm surprised they didn't use a different coil but that's cool you can actually interchange between two machines
How does it compare with the Score or Double Score?

Yeah I wouldn't go into the tunnel LOL plus there would be too much interference I doubt you would find much in there
