I have a quick question can you show in your next video on the challenger Where's the Rack And pinion top plug were it comes from Where the fuse boxes is
Hi, I have a problem with a 2016 220d shooting brake (cls),could you confirm if there is 1 or 2 coolant temperature sensors on this car, the reason I ask is that I'm getting a overheat signal on my dash, I notice the temperature guage flutters at just past 80 celsius,,does the feed for this come from the temperature sensor on the thermostat housing? I originally thought there was an issue with the thermostat, I've changed this along with the sensor, I also have an issue with the radiator cooling fan, it stays on, have ordered a new fan with module, thankyou in advance for your time Vinny
I got a Low Coolant message, and I was only 1/4 cup low....... I would rather that happen than wait until it was low enough to cause a problem....BTW, the car is a 2017 S550 4Matic ...
The reservoir is the overflow for the radiator. As the coolant heats up it expands. Prior to reservoirs it would then overflow and be lost on the ground. As it sits the radiator is full so if you add any to the raidator it would overflow out the top or slowly drain to this reservoir anyway. Easier to just fill up the reservoir. Any fluid 'lost' from the heating of the coolant to the reservoir will be pulled back in to the radiator as it cools keeping the radiator filled at all times.
Biggest facepalm ever. I think I just need more coolant. I see the dry pins in there. Now I’m just hoping when I fill it up it doesn’t leak from anywhere 😅
Leak from somewhere. If the light goes away, that only means the sensor is working. It does not tell us why the coolant level dropped. A pressure test will only tell us where the leak is

Generally i agree. Typically all cars have a clear indicator where to fill it up to. MB Manuals say 1.5 cm from top to level. Other reservoirs have a little indicator inside. Those indicators vary tho. But the fill so all the clear is good enough and cant go wrong.

Great video! Now how do you get rid of that Service A message?
I have a QX30 Infiniti 2017. Get same message but levels look OK
Where are you guys located?
Thanks for the help 👍🏽
Thanks Sir for sharing!!!
I don’t see link to order parts
Is it normal that the coolant level drops over time? A few years?
Maybe a tiny leak on the thermostat gasket. Common on m276
I got a Low Coolant message, and I was only 1/4 cup low....... I would rather that happen than wait until it was low enough to cause a problem....BTW, the car is a 2017 S550 4Matic ...
Mine coolants keeps wading pretty fast idk why
You should of shown us until where you filled it up inside!
Nice bro
I’m not a mechanic, but why would you add coolant in the reservoir tank instead of where the radiator is?
The reservoir is the overflow for the radiator. As the coolant heats up it expands. Prior to reservoirs it would then overflow and be lost on the ground. As it sits the radiator is full so if you add any to the raidator it would overflow out the top or slowly drain to this reservoir anyway. Easier to just fill up the reservoir. Lol dont open the bonnet. Its not the place for you

why did coolant level drop?

Do they have this in English version?
Are you deaf?

This video was stupid! If people don’t know where to add coolant they shouldn’t drive!!!! SMDH
Then why are YOU here?
