I just started watching Charmed for the first time ever and I'm 39 years old. It took me 25 years but I'm watching it and it's an awesome show. I'm on Season 1. Shannen Doherty, Holly Marie Combs and Alyssa Milano were awesome. I cannot wait to get to Season 4 to see Rose McGowan.
I bought and read Rose McGowan's book and it was very moving. She tells a lot of personal and intimate things. I cried a lot while reading her book. She's truly a fighting and wonderful woman! I love her ❤
So glad Rose talked about her book and PTSD and her struggles. You are an amazing person Rose. Thank you for sharing so much of yourself and being so open even though you are in a vulnerable spot. I appreciate all your good side and the painful side of you too. Not everyone is willing to put their pain out there and share of themselves when they are in the middle of a scary battle. But you are truly brave and did it. Thank you.
I met both of these amazing women and Shannen at 90s con this past weekend! They were both very gracious and kind, as well as taking time with each of their fans who took time to come meet them. As far as the strike and them not being able to talk about it, they didn't have any issues talking about it directly to fans who asked questions, but I guess just can't talk openly about it in panels and such

Starting at @15:16, I know exactly what Holly Marie Combs is talking about! Charmed Season 2 Episode 20 Astral Monkey, when the doctor who initially saved Piper's life on season 2 episode 12 got ALL of their powers and got out of control and they all had to use their combined strength to get the machine gear to reflect back at the corrupt doctor which ultimately killed him. Heartbreaking but good episode....
I've literally been praying since 2006 for Charmed to come back. Rose and Holly are super close in real life and Holly and Shannen are close again so we have at least 3 of the sisters who all have said multiple times that they would do the show again under the right circumstances. Alyssa has said before that she'd do the show again too but I don't see her coming back because Rose and Shannen have some very legitimate tension with her. Although I prefer the Piper, Phoebe and Paige trio I wouldn't be mad if we got a Prue, Piper and Paige trio with Phoebe appearing occasionally. Fingers crossed...

I loved this show so much and am now watching it with my daughter. Gotta say though I'm an og fan. Just wasn't the same without Pru. I wish they could have worked out their differences and kept going. Regardless I'm grateful for the show and how it helped me and so many other girls navigate feminine experiences!! Love you so much. Just started getting into charmed a few years ago was in saint Vincent's back in 21 when I stumbled upon that one episode where booker t was whooping alyssa's ass. Holly and rose are queens and queens always need their king wish they were born in 93 instead of 73 wouldn't have minded either one of them as MY Queen holly and rose if you're reading this this is for u.
Am and always will be team Piper. The crap she had to put up with and still try to keep her and her sister’s level headed. I liked Pipers wardrobe best too. She seemed the sensible one. I also want to be retired from work like Hollie at her age. Life goals.
A comment about the strike and the guidelines that are effecting comic cons. People are paying their hard earned money to attend these events and so to not discuss the tv shows directly that these actors are there representing is ridiculous. I have sympathy for the writers but this is ridiculous.
@@jennyk885 I’m honestly not sure, although that would make sense. My issue is that people are spending money to see them and talk about Charmed. I don’t think that will harm the writers guild’s chances.

The situation about the strike was nicely explained on the 90210 panel by Gabrielle Cartaris who is the former president of SAG AFTRA. They're fighting for contracts to protect against AI technology, because the technology puts their jobs and everyone in the industry at risk. They want laws that protect them and their work. Have you seen and heard all the AI songs for instance? Where people use AI to make it appear other artists cover songs by other people? That's one of many example of how dangerous AI can be for entertainment and singers, songwriters, actors. And to be honest, all the con hosts ask the same questions we all know the answers to already so its not that big of deal they don't talk about the series they were on.
Shannon was at the convention but the 90210 panel was right after this one, and that one was the bigger reunion for this con. Holly mentioned during the órale she wanted to be there but couldn’t. Some photo sessions were happening at the same time.
I know the Rose hates Alyssa Milano but what’s the 411 on Holly? My impression is that Holly is friends with all of them but the other don’t like each other. I’m guessing Shannon is okay with Rose since she didn’t work with her but was replaced by Rose nevertheless.

Rose is very well-spoken but I think she’s a narcissist with some other mental issues (actually, perhaps understandable considering her background even before her time as an actress). Holly and she are an interesting contrast with Holly always having a more down to earth energy, but they did have very different experiences in the industry.
Remember what she went through over the last decade. She was absolutely destroyed and had to built herself up again mostly on her own. She was a pariah, despised by the whole industry. I don't think she's a narcissist, she had to suffer absolute loneliness after an unbelievable witch hunt and knows she can only rely on herself. She even gets sidelined by the "Me too" movement, but without her a lot concerning Weinstein would have never happened. I don't judge her at all, I can't even imagine how all that must have felt (and still feel) and what those levels of trauma do to a human mind. She's remarkable strong and stable in my opinion.

She might be on prednisone. I took it and I doubled in size when I was on it. It causes severe cortisol overload. Makes your face really round like a full moon.

Rose McGowan wasn’t all that great in it and isn’t a very good actor anyway and her hatred towards Alyssa pisses me off. Alyssa is way better than Rose as an actor, she still gets gigs and Rose thinks it’s because of who she’s married to which isn’t factual. She’s just jealous of her and the fact she’s on that stage shows she needs work and is trying to stay relevant.
Alyssa is somewhat of a wash up. And Alyssa's behavior and actions and her comments the past 5 years shows her true colors. She is not that good of a person.
These women raised me.
