Who knew that the way to make battle phase decks good, was to turn the battle phase into the main phase.
A crazy interaction with the new tenpai dragon with magnamhut allows you to special summon it on the end phase, this deck is everything I wanted
I've been saying this for months now, but don't underestimate Tenpai and let them go first. If you're unlucky and they hit you with Heat Wave or this new trap you will regret it.
People use heat wave?
Or just sit on Kaiser Colosseum after making the big boy 😅
@@undeadinside3571 yeah, OCG players started playing it in the side deck, when they are forced to go first. It's basically a Dimensional Barrier, but works in Tenpai only.
You must activate it first in Main Phase 1, but thanks to the new Tenpai monster you can play in the draw phase now. I expect a lot more people will start using the card in the main deck as well, with how nice it synergize with this new support.
@@sammydray5919 Yeah, I see a lot of people play Colosseum as well. It's sort of a fish or bear hand situation tho, both are good but you should only choose 3-4 copies because more is redundant.
In the TCG Colosseum is currently banned, so I expect Heat Wave will be used a lot more once Tenpai is released there, or you can use 3 Heat Wave and 1 Colosseum in Master Duel when they come out
@@undeadinside3571Yes, going sevobd decks have started picking it up for when they have to go first. Saw it in a topping Flame Swordsman list a while ago.
I'm actually very happy that this deck is as good as it is, because the art style is absolutely amazing. And not only that but going second decks are needed as well.

OCG has been playing this with like 20+ hand traps. Don’t gotta deal with full combo snake eyes when you throw 3-4 hand traps at them
Great, the grind game gets grindier. That’s exactly what it needed.
I'm sort of happy we have a battle phase oriented deck getting great support and doing well. Love the art too!
Now if only gladiator beasts could get support this good

@@undeadinside3571 The GB Link2 is so good idk what else they could even print to put it over the edge back into meta contention. I think the core gameplay of what the deck wants to do is just outdated. Maybe some sort of way to fuse on opponents turn or to provide a way to give immunity to your monsters on opponents turn.

Tenpai playstyle is what Watts should have been according to their latest support. Otking with direct attacks and synchro summoning during the battle phase. Tenpai is Watts done right.
This deck is revolutionary… it changes the aspect of how we look to the game
Ngl, its kinda refreshing to see a blind second deck be top tier for once, considering the state of the game
So refreshing to see a deck that says "your opponent can't interact" be top tier, so much fun and good gameplay sure!
It's refreshing until you actually play against it. People don't like the handtrap meta and this deck comes in with even more. I'm expecting a lot of complaints about this deck once it's actually playable

I just find it interesting to have a blind second deck be top tier considering the community almost unnanimously agrees the going first advantage has been a problem for over a decade at this point. That is all.

@@Cardlimits trident dragon will gain the opponent 3k life. it will become a 6k attack monster from the field spell that can attack 3 times for a grand total of 18k damage. maybe you need to take your casual comments out of here when you have 0 idea how the deck functions. the field spell isnt once per turn either so if you hard open it you can set it again off baidora and use sangen risedragon bident dragion to pop your own field spell giving trident another 3k being 27k dmg

This kind of reminds me of Kozmo where if you're able to swing in damage with Farmgirl, it's gg for your opponent, sometimes pumping out 12k+ damage, except what do you do when everything is a Farmgirl and they're protected, bonkers 🤯

Be a Spellbook Vs Dragon Rulers situation, or Snake Eyes will drop to Tier 1 and this deck will be Tier 1 among others.
Funny how this deck gets a card that Glad Beasts could have used over a decade ago. The trap card is just busted tbh
I think people are dooming about this deck, yes it's super consistent and resistant to a lot of things, but there are a lot of specific cards that are likely to stop it, similar to gimmick puppets tbh

@@Swanjeff1those 3 homogenize every single archetype in the game to summon them. There's no difference between Shs, vaylantz and Manadome. It's all baron apolousa, every single deck gravitate around that end board is bad for the game.
Also if you took Apolousa and baron deck like snake eyes have to rely on their own boss moster.

Pretty sure it would rip through full power Tear's board since they wouldn't be able to use any of their interactions on them in Main Phase. The only interactions Tenpai would have to play through are Rulkalos, Kaleido-Heart and maybe Sulliek
@@tausifulislam987 Also Perlereino, Shufflers in GY, And even Cryme too, Plus Scream will reduce their monsters on top. I'm Not saying Tear will have all of those at once, But at least they will have more than half of them at least
I hate this so much.
I don't care how unhealthy it is that a deck running 15 1 card otks and 20 handtraps can run 2 turn skips, one searchable.
It can deal like 30k damage in a single battle phase and that's based, actually. Just blasting your opponent at point blank range with a shotgun. Multiple times.

Why no Blaster lithium?
With the support the deck gets in Infinite Forbidden Blaster isn’t really needed. Sure, it’s cool with gold sarc when the deck first comes out at the end of the month but it can be taken out when the other stuff comes out in July

Well powercreep is the only way sadly. Other way is to make new master rule which restricting lot what players can do in 1 turn, or make YGO reboot + set rotation. Which i bet lot ppl dont want too

@@幽霊船-o4hIt's not Tier 0. If it could go first as well as it could go second, it probably would be, but the inability to do much going first sort of keeps it in check in that regard.
If enough people start talking about and hyping it, it could make waves easily. Maybe in the TCG since Yugitubers make a big portion of the advertisement over here. I could definitely see it dominating in MD where it’s a BO1.
these new cards are awful... Good, yes, but awful for the game... 2024 has really just not been that fun for yugioh if I'm being honest... Snake Eye is too overtuned and pricy... This deck is just a stun deck that can otk... gimmick puppets is just a consistant boring ftk... trickstars support was awful... the new fiendsmith stuff is gonna be yet another pricy engine... only thing I've been excited for is the new Melodious Support... Outside of that I legit haven't had any real fun or interest in anyrhing new...
