What I hear a lot about sneakers vloggers reviewing sneakers, they don't really know the difference between suede and nubuck. In this case it is nubuck. Suede have rough edges on both sides of the surface and has a more hairy structure. Nubuck has a smoother surface because the leather side surface (hide) is sanded. Suede is often split leather without the hide. Nubuck is therefore stronger and more expensive.
For example, the Jordan 4 Royalty is suede, the Jordan 4 Travis Scott is nubuck. Got a W by the way, great review!

Is it just me or do they look super long in the toe box at 1:33?
Yo Sean! What would you recommend for protection (waterproofing) on this specific pair of Jordan? I'm dying to wear mine but I live in an area with very wet climate and am really holding back on using my usual Kiwi boot protector because of possible discoloration on the sail and nubuck leather. Any Input is greatly appreciated because I'm really not trying to ruin these on my first time out hahaha
I used Jason Markk Repel and it didn't change the colour of the leather.

@@saulvalencia2582 I ended up using the Jason Markk like Sean recommended. I think the kiwi boot protector is great, but it would definitely discolor nubuck over time. Jason Markk is a rather light spray and it truly does stop water and dust without discoloration. I highly recommend it!

I'm a TTS 10 wide, but yeah I go 10.5 in Jordan 1 (same size as my Air Maxes, Epic React, Vapormax). I prefer the added width room in the toe.
