  • Ingredients
    Chicken 500 gm, Basmati rice 4 cup (500 gm) at least soaked 1/2 hr,2 teaspoon ginger garlic paste, 2 teaspoon curd, 2 pcs chopped tomatoes,2 pcs chopped onions,chopped coriander leaves, 5 pcs green chillies,
    Dry powdered masala _1 teaspoon red chilli powder, 1 teaspoon Coriander powder, quarter teaspoon black pepper powder, 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder, 1/2 teaspoon gram masala powder, salt ( according to taste) , quarter teaspoon turmeric powder.
    Gram masala_2 pcs bay leaves, 4 pcs cardamom( choti elachi), 1/2 teaspoon black cumin (zeera), quarter teaspoon black pepper, 2 star flower, 5 pcs cloves( loong)
    Add masalas according to taste
    Method
    Add 4 table spoons oil/ ghee in heated pressure cooker over medium flame, then add cumin , gram masalas and bay leaves let them sizzle add chopped onions and cook until golden browned (3, 4 minutes), and ginger garlic paste and some water then add salt and powdered masalas, chopped tomatoes cook them(3, 4 mins). Then add chicken cook until browned (4, 5 mins), add soaked basmati rice stir 1 min then add 4 cups hot water then close cooker lid 3,4 whistles (about 10 -12 mins) on medium flame and let pressure release naturally. Garnish with coriander leaves and brown onions and serve hot.
    Tips_Adjust water ratio as needed for your pressure cooker, you can also add potatoes and peas.
