Nationall costume in the Philippines is known as Barong Tagalog for men and Baro't Saya for women or it's also called 'Terno" for ladies. The traditional clothing is made from very fine fabric called Jusi (pronounced husi) made from abaca fibers (type of plant). The Barong Tagalog is embroidered and worn untucked with dress pants and a white T-shirt underneath. The 'terno' has butterfly sleeves and also has a lot of embroidery and beads.
