the best way is when your turning the headland in. If you leave a headland round the whole field and plough it round and round. The only bit paddled will be tight in corner. I can do it when turning headland out, but takes a bit of doing and time, hopefully when i have the plough on again iam going to do a video setting up a plough and go thro some techniques ive picked up over the years
paddling is driving what has already been ploughed. I do this just to reduce driving on ploughed land. Maybe not to necessary when its dry but a nice technique when its wet
Great video, great workmanship and no stupid music just the sound of the machine. I would love to have a go a ploughing one day.
Top job fair play . A man who takes pride in his work !
Now I know what paddling is the video makes a lot of sense as well as being great to watch, cheers!
Nice smooth corners too this way.
Is this the modern way of ploughing fields these days a lot different to how I use to plough back in the 70s.
So are you basically starting the diagonal ploughing once the curve begins and then to your marker?
Nothing smells better than new mown grass or fresh ploughed earth
Does this also work on bigger plows? Like a 6 furrow?
Yeh it works just the same
What does 'paddling ' mean?
Tullyvernon causing damage to the soil structure with the tractor :)
Nice job , do you have a technique for ploughing the headlands without padding?
