i agree with you; i prefer the side that you flat-twisted using just your hair and then adding the Marley hair at the base. it looks smoother. that might be because you didn't have to add the Marley hair while flat twisting your natural hair - it didn't look like it was a struggle - so i like that side better.
speaking of which, i'm glad you left the recording of the first braid - the struggle - in because a lot of hair stylists don't. they make it seem easy, as if there is no struggle involved, so when i try to recreate it and it comes out looking booty, it makes me feel a certain way. for me, i prefer to see the whole process, struggle and all. so thank you for that.
the end result is BEAUTIFUL
Subscribers have told me they prefer my videos where I show my struggles because all styles are NOT straight to the point! Lol I have sat hours trying to accomplish a style 😣 and sometimes I want it to be known! Lol For this style I had never done a flat twist using additional hair so I honestly wasn't sure how it should be done! I sometimes look at celebrity styles and sit in front of my camera not knowing how the style will play out so I'm glad I left that in there for you.
