    They're ok but the FE like you tested, 120mm are awesome. Got them and tried them yesterday and I am in love, also being green attracts doggies barking at me. Awesome😁

      Haha yeah the size difference definitely changes how it reacts to road features and how it absorbs impacts. They are great!

    The Galaxys are for sure more durable that's the one upside besides rolling resistance. The tread stays because people are claiming the tread pattern and depth change isn't noticeable by eye after 500 miles. It'll take you 1500+ miles to even notice a change in the treads I'm willing to bet.

    • @RBEMotion
      @RBEMotion  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yeah they do seem like they would be more durable. Good to know the tread pattern stays around for a while!

    *Urethane could be different like you say but also the core, kegel core might be a touch smaller, allowin more urethane on Mads*

    Why are the scores for Dadbods and Cloudwheel FE blacked out?

    • @RBEMotion
      @RBEMotion  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Good question - because they aren't finalized. They'll be finalized in their own full reviews. I know the DadBod one has taken forever, but to be honest, they just haven't been on my board, and I bought them myself so I have no obligation to the company to finish it in a time frame, so they took the back burner. The FE on the other hand, I just got them and they're still under evaluation.

    I'm stuck between switching from my Galaxy pros(which I was disappointed with impact absorption) to either the v2's or the 120mm FE. everyone said the mad wheelz 105 was as good with that as the discoverys or close to so I expected the Galaxys to be like the Madz. While they are nice and grippy and repel debris we'll and ride on gravel we'll, they don't handle bumps well. The grip from the FEs is plenty for me so I'm probably going to go with the 120 FEs.
    A motor just went out on my 2 week old 200 mile wowgo 3e. So. That sucks. Have to wait for support.
    These treads on the Galaxys are awesome for debris like pebbles and other stuff that size. It's better for that than it is water because like you said no one rides in water anyway. Everyone's always running over debris though. Even if your streets are nice there is the occasional pebble.

      Just got my 120Fe and yesterday was my test ride. At first, they slide like hell so i ran the board few times to get it loose that layer. Now, i love them, so much better than many others. I have the dad bods, Mad V2, Rovers 110, Onsra 119 or something and meepo cyclones 110. FE are my now favourites for shock absorptions and they stick very well.

      @@skfunk4550 kami jun claimed the 120 FE was as comfortable as a 5 inch pu tire. And tb e motion claimed they are better than the onsra rubber airless so I'm really excited.
      However a motor just went out on my two week old 3e. Waiting for wowgo support to message me back. Sucks. I loved it and it's my commute. I put 200 miles on it in 2 weeks I was having so much fun.

      @@michaelwagner6410 The Onsra as they are rubber are the best in comfort however the range decrease a lot. I just got the 120mm FE and test rode them on Saturday and i can confirm, they are comfy and absorb the shock perfectly.

      You make a good point about the pebbles, I didn't think about that. I think the Cloudwheels are great too, but not quiiite as grippy as madz.

    • @RBEMotion
      @RBEMotion  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I don't really think the FE are better than the Onsra Rubber, the Onsra Rubber is by far the most comfortable, but it EATS range and wears quickly.

    Excluding the rock hard galaxies,
    To my knowledge you’ve never ridden a discovery FE 105mm, but if you could picture it how would you think they stack up against the Mad v2s in impact absorption and comfort? The extra 15mm is doing quite a bit for the FE 120. So do you think the 105 will be a decent amount better in that than the mad v2 in that aspect? Because if it’s a really close call and only a hair better then the mad v2 is what I want because that grip is dank.
    You get more into detail than most other eskate TH-camrs I figured your the guy to ask.

      I have Tynee 105s which are v1 mad wheels. I want to give them to my brother and upgrade. If the thirteenth suspension hole is only a little bit more that’s fine a little goes a long way. But also am considering the FE 105. My stinger is on half inch risers so I don’t want to raise it further more on 120s

    • @RBEMotion
      @RBEMotion  7 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Hmmm... That's an interesting proposition. I think they would be quite similar, but potentially a bit less grippy. The Mad V2 is the grippiest urethane I've tried so far, and have a much wider contact patch. The clouds would also probably be better for smaller vibrations because of the foam.

    • @RBEMotion
      @RBEMotion  7 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Yeah I definitely wouldn't want a shortboard on 120s either lol

    • @MichaelWagner-z4k

      @@RBEMotion sort of a short board haha. It’s really a mid size longboard at 34 inches despite the kick tail. Having that direct leverage over your trucks is so much better for carving. With the tkp baseplates and those massive 12 inch trucks I’ll be downtown deep carving full lean at 25 mph, and moderate carving at 26 to 32mph.
      It’s so empowering to do that on a kicktail board right after flying off a curb.
      For that reason I’m going with mad v2s, I require that grip with how I ride.
      Sorry for going into a rant about my board. Currently in love with her.

    Does the camera lens make it look like you're going really fast, or are you actually going really fast?

      It's a combination - I was traveling up to and over 25mph at a couple points in the video, but the average speed was around 15mph.

    what trigger remote do you use on this board?

    • @RBEMotion
      @RBEMotion  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The Maytech v2. I don't recommend it, it has repeatable cutouts when you get near radio towers or cell towers. I've been using a zmote dual for a while on a different board and has been good so far
