“White played a move, and white resigned”. Yes, I've seen that before. White plays what he thinks is a good move, but discovers that it's really a huge blunder and resigns on the spot.
We can say that this is a unique game where white both won and lost at the same time. This is like me playing chess vs myself. I always somehow end up losing.
Per Stockfish 10 (depth 25+): 6.e5 is always unsound. It gives Black a -1 edge. Here, Black discarded his edge with weak play. Move 9: c6 is no improvement on the "Short vs Miles" Rxg7; Black should try immediate e6. Move 10: Black should try Qa5; playing e6 now (after c6 already covers the d5 square) wastes time, giving an even game. Move 12: Black should play either f6 or immediate Bd7 for fast castling; while Qe7 is natural (to un-pin), e7 square is weak for the Q, again wasting time. Move 13: Black must now urgently play f6 (to prevent the threat of Bg5); playing Bd7 and O-O-O (delaying f6) gives White a killer +3, +4 type of advantage. White's remaining moves look brilliant to humans, but the game was already over.
White played the last move and white resigned? Why? Mato whats going on did you fire your editor? Or you just don't care about the videos you make anymore.
"white played a move and white resigned" Legend!
Truly an insane game
lmao
😐 why did white resign!?
@@ahmadrahimkhan 3 pieces against a Rook is too much to ask also he has a dangerous passed pawn.

"White played a move and White resigned"... Legend!
What a masterpiece! I haven't heard about these players, so I'm grateful that you show awesome games from less known people. Thank you Mato.

When playing a weak(er) opponent, of course not. But when playing an equal-or-stronger opponent, for White to play a -1 opening is a mistake.
And right now I can only see .25 moves ahead.
Great game.. thx Mato
Thank god it's not Alistair White vs Geoff Black.
That player was totally Tal in disguise. Kudos to Fake white for his attack.
Great analysis and humour Mato. Things are rarely black and white in chess, do you agree? Geoff Chandler is also a fine chess coach.
This is madness on the chessboard. It's not normal.
Wow what a game man!!
Mato can you show us another crazy game like this where Black did win?
It's a mad mad chess world
Well that was crazy
Simply a masterpiece
This is a very interesting vid though to be fair to Alistair it should be pointed out that Chandler - White was an ungraded game
Great game, full of surprises.
You said it, fantastic game wuauuu thanks 👍
Kabum! Lovely

I got the rook takes bishop tactic!
Sorcery.
