A couple of things not mentioned. You can get a secret pack unlock by crafting a secret rare or higher card from that pack. So you do not have to open any master packs. Also there is a dismantle all extra cards feature as well (similar to hearthstone's disenchant ability).
@@koreywilliams4570 yes and no. sometimes u get shiny cards with shiny letters and they count as an extra stack of 3. so in theory this can leave u with 6 copies of a card if the card is for instance: 3 copies of super rare skill drain and 3 copies of shiny super rare skill drain. it will just delete everything past 3 on a stack. so you still have to manually look for these extra shiny letter ones if u want to disenchant them.
Also, something not mentioned here (maybe Sam doesn't know), if you craft a SR or UR card from a secret pack you don't have yet, it gives you 1 free pack from that set.
8:00 To add to this, a card with glossy finish (the shiny silver effect) can be dismantled for 15 CP and a card with the royal finish (I think it's a rainbow effect) gives you 30 CP
Lightning Storm, Solemn Judgment, and Ash Blossom from those bundles can't be turned into material. This applies to the 3 decks you get to choose at the start of the game + structure decks in the shop
It also applies to any of the pre-made decks you unlock from completing solo mode sections. For example; any of the cards in the free Monarch deck you get can't be turned into material.

Just a heads up on the mission rewards from solo mode; you can't dismantle any cards gifted to you in decks or as rewards for missions. Same goes for any URs you acquire in basic or store structure decks. Konami did not want you to game their game, so you still gotta grind more for CP
something worth mentioning as well, if you already know what deck your building: if you don't unlock the secret pack for that deck through the master pack bundles, just craft a UR card from the deck you want to build. that will unlock the secret rare pack. example, if you want to build sky striker or dragon maid, just craft 1 copy of kagari or house dragonmaid. that will unlock the secret pack for that deck and you can open that pack instead of gambling on opening random packs hoping you get a UR from the deck you want so you can build it.
Ultra rare in my experience guarantees a secret pack to unlock for 24 and if its your first time unlocking a secret pack this way you also get a free pack of whatever you unlocked. Super rare crafting hasn't guaranteed a secret pack to unlock for me at all. It can, but not 100% of the time.
@@RipCCCord And on the flipside a secret pack always unlocks for me with SR. Have you made sure the pack your unlocking isn't already unlocked? Because from what I've seen only when you unlock a secret when it's not already up is when you get a notification of it and get a free pull. Else the last 5 SRs I crafted to get a secret pack has worked reliably.

This refreshes daily(this does not include the free pull of an archetype secret pack youve already crafted, but youll still unlock the packs to pull from) 3. You will gain 6 Structure decks from the Solo, one starter deck, and then 3 more structures(dragon, synchro, link). one you start with, one youll obtain by leveling up to level 10, and the last one will be from 10 ranked duels. 4. Dismantling all extra copies of cards does NOT include different rarities of the cards. you can have 3 regular "Monster Reborn", 3 shiny, and 3 prism. Dismantling them at different rarities is 10cp/15cp/30cp 5. If youre a new/returning player then I suggest clearing Solo mode(not completing/100%) so you can get a feel for the unfamiliar mechanics and maybe you find a deck you enjoy that you can build on for cheap by completing the extra missions. I have 5 days logged, 2100+ cards, 218 packs opened, 7/8 pvp games won, and im lvl 7 COMPLETELY FTP with almost 3 full competitive decks made. I hope this helps.
Sam did prove one thing with the blue-eyes deck unless it has max c and skill drain it's a one trick pony only as good as the hand-traps you draw. if you want a real grind game in blue-eyes i suggest try combining dragonmaid. blue-eyes suffers from not knowing what it wants to be it has two synchro, a bunch of fusion, rituals and a large assortment of usable rank 8.
one important thing sam missed, whenever you craft a ur or sr rarity card you unlock the secret pack for the card(if it has one) and receive a free pack. you can see the key above i haven't spammed crafting urs so i don't know if you can just get 3 packs for 3 copies
Hey Sam btw, whatever UR card you get from tutorial or solo mode, they can’t be dismantled, you get good staples, this also applys to the structure deck URs
is worth noting players starting out should focus on crafting staple cards/ cards that can ONLY be pulled from the master pack over archetype specific cards. the best play is to open the special packs for your given archetype to try and pull those URs, that are archetype specific while funneling most of your cp towards the cards that are only available in the master packs, which are significantly harder to get.
I haven’t bought anything at all and I don’t know what deck to get. I’m new don’t judge. Having said that my question is; can/should I continue playing the whole solo mode and once I’m more prepared and have learned more, then buy? Or should I start buying from now. I need serious help. And personaly blue eyes players were my easiest matchup with all of my decks. I am plat IV and i never lost to a blue eyes deck. Hell, i am plat IV just becaose i faced like 12 blue eyes players. If you are looking for a cheap, but good deck i recommend earth machine. You need 2/3 in archetype urs in the main and 6 in archetype urs in the extra. I dont have the full extra deck becaose i spent all of my stuff on rokket and dark magician but the deck works fine without some of the ur extra deck cards. Just to make it clear i am a f2p player

This was helpful. I managed to generate my real world deck and am now playing ranked with it. I just beat a link player who had me on the ropes, and then he got overconfident and played something that he had to sacrifice life points for, I guess thinking he would get an easy direct attack on his turn with his massive monsters he had out, and it put him in range for my 4000 point wave motion cannon to end it. ha
Man I am so hyped to play Yu gi oh again. Used to do tournaments in Sweden for a while. I wasn't great but I won some duels, but I haven't played since so I'm really excited to try this out
Fair warning ⚠️ you can’t dismantle any of the “free” cards. This includes everything you get in solo, the bundle cards, starer and structure decks as well as the legacy pack cards. Not to mention all those gems you get in the first few hours of gameplay dries up QUICK! This game is grindy af 😩 and can be very expensive.
Thanks to you and MD’s dismantle system, I have built my own version of earth machines based on Petros’ earth machines (with limiter removal, cosmic cyclone, raigeki and maxx c because master duel).
this is one of my first yugioh experiences excluding my short time playing in duel links. i know nothing apart from my random knowledge on the basics of pendulum of this franchise and I'm excited to start so i will for sure listen carefully to this video and experiment
I frequently return to the Duel Strategy units and then tougher units in Solo where you can swap out the loaner deck for your own deck, to test, try out and practise with new decks.
You should cover the ban list and its implication, as the cards we have access to are different than TCG. Like, we have 3 Lythosagym, True King of All Calamities, 3 Salamangreat Circle, 3 Macro Cosmos, 3 That Grass is Greener, etc. (but no Dragoon)
I feel that I almost made the mistake with not getting the ash blossom packs first but realized my mistake immediately I now have 3 decks Danger! Kaijus, Toons, and I am about finished with thunder dragons. Love this video keep up the great work 👍
In my country there are no resources for having yugioh cards. Thanks to Master Duel I can officially duel players around the world with my own (virtual 😬) yugioh cards.
You taught me about the hidden crafting system. Funny thing is I saw when building a deck it showed me all the cards I didn't have and I was disappointed thinking this is just RNG but I can add any card I don't have in my deck and just generate them Good I can finally scrap my 6 utopia rays that I'll never use

I'm a person who is completely in love with Galaxy-Eyes and overall a dragon fan. I would ask one thing in the survey for the game, a rarity converter. Which means convert 10 N = 1 R. 10R = 1SR, 10SR=1UR. In my opinion, by applying this mode in the game will encourage players more packs and put all rarity into use
...and Konami would sell fewer packs, because players have an easier way to acquire cards the need. They'll never do this; even "free" games have to turn a profit.

Hey Sam it’s probably already well known but for those who don’t if you craft a super rare or higher card of a specific art tape it will automatically unlock that art types pack as well as give you a free pull
Yeah, biggest thing I'm not seeing people do is. After each new pack you unlock from a crafted card you get a free pull. So craft one, free pull, then go back and craft another, rinse and repeat. You get the most that way. Instead people either JUST pull packs or craft multiple cards back to back not paying attention.

i used this video to build my dragon maid deck, and i got a very good surprise, becasue when i crafted cards form other packs, i would actually unlock a free pull from a secret pack (it has to be super rare or ultra rare) and in addition you unlock the secret pack for 24 hours
Guys this actually works is super useful I built my own super good Galaxy photon deck for completely free with some solo grinding, pack opening and a lot of dismantling and crafting you just need to put in some time and effort
One thing I'd like to say about the mystical spave typhoon thing you said. Tnags a bad way to choose starter deck. Choose based on rarer cards. Not based off an easy to ibtain copy of MST which you can get from dismantling 3 to 9 rare for a playset

You forgot to mention a few things. You cannot dismantle cards from precon decks, you get more cp from foil and prismatic, also the cheapest deck to get started would be blue eyes if you start with the dragon starter.
I started with the link deck and I'm trying to learn cybers and link monsters. I just started adjusting my starting deck and added a couple new monsters. I'm slowly getting the hang of link summoning.
Yooo sam, you can unlock the secret packs aswell by crafting a SR or UR card from the pack you want to unlock. :) Dismanteling non-glossy gives you 10 points, glossy 15 poitns, "ultra-glossy" 30 points of its rarity. :)
A couple things about this video irked me. One: You can't dismantle the cards you're telling people they can. Two: The real best way is to build the deck you want even if you don't have the cards. Check how to obtain them and see the secret pack that has the most in them, then craft a SR or UR from that secret pack to unlock it. Now you can dump all your gems into the right pack!
If you want a full Dark magician deck, just buy all 3 of the vortex of magic structure decks for 1500 gems then you can build a great dark magician deck. Proceeding in the solo section will give you blue eyes structure deck. So do with those as you please
This game is amazing I managed to build my deck for free I still have plenty of gems that I earned for freeeeeee Borroload Dragons is my favourite it has all forms of summoning except except pendulum the fact it’s on Switch makes it perfect for me :D
Now I want to do all those things for Noble Knights. Edit: This helped me so much and now I completed my Noble Knights Deck and sent a lot of people to the Shadow Realm!

You can look up a card you want in edit deck, then craft one Sr or ur and you unlock the secret pack you desire that's how I unlocked the dark magician without actually pulling any of the cards. Also you can look up trap cards you want and craft them instead of pulling them

Very helpful just getting back into it since I play on ps4. Last few days I have been getting frustrated with it when I make a deck and go into pop I keep losing. Really want a banishing deck since it's been my favorite for the longest time
for some reason on mine it won't show cards I haven't already gotten. if I search for a card I want to craft that I haven't already pulled it shows 0 results...
On thing you got wrong. You can't dismantle cards that are given to you like the monster reborn, lighting storm etc. You also can't dismantle structure deck cards
You forgot that clicking dismantle all extra cards in the same tab as dismantle selected cards will get rid of any copies of cards you have that you have more than three of. You only need 3 of any card so that will get you a lot of cp without having to go through manually
you can make 1 or 2 decks for free this way but after the free gems dry up you're on your own unless we get some events that give gems. if you want to play more decks you have to pay or make an alternate account.

Man I am so hyped to play Yu gi oh again. Used to do tournaments in Sweden for a while. I wasn't great but I won some duels, but I haven't played since so I'm really excited to try this out
Fair warning ⚠️ you can’t dismantle any of the “free” cards. This includes everything you get in solo, the bundle cards, starer and structure decks as well as the legacy pack cards. Not to mention all those gems you get in the first few hours of gameplay dries up QUICK! This game is grindy af 😩 and can be very expensive.
Luckily The events give a lot of gems. At least for me. 🤣❤️

Thanks to you and MD’s dismantle system, I have built my own version of earth machines based on Petros’ earth machines (with limiter removal, cosmic cyclone, raigeki and maxx c because master duel).
this is one of my first yugioh experiences excluding my short time playing in duel links. i know nothing apart from my random knowledge on the basics of pendulum of this franchise and I'm excited to start so i will for sure listen carefully to this video and experiment

I fell in love dueling all over again with this game coming out
I frequently return to the Duel Strategy units and then tougher units in Solo where you can swap out the loaner deck for your own deck, to test, try out and practise with new decks.
You should cover the ban list and its implication, as the cards we have access to are different than TCG.
Like, we have 3 Lythosagym, True King of All Calamities, 3 Salamangreat Circle, 3 Macro Cosmos, 3 That Grass is Greener, etc. (but no Dragoon)

I feel that I almost made the mistake with not getting the ash blossom packs first but realized my mistake immediately I now have 3 decks Danger! Kaijus, Toons, and I am about finished with thunder dragons.

In my country there are no resources for having yugioh cards. Thanks to Master Duel I can officially duel players around the world with my own (virtual 😬) yugioh cards.

Funny thing is I saw when building a deck it showed me all the cards I didn't have and I was disappointed thinking this is just RNG but I can add any card I don't have in my deck and just generate them

Thank you so much for everything Samuari, I downloaded this game as soon as it got released. When you started making videos of this game, I knew I had to play more. I'm a person who is completely in love with Galaxy-Eyes and overall a dragon fan.
It would mean the world to me, not just Galaxy eyes, but for other decks, how to build them and how to use them correctly in order to make us very good players! Cheers m8
I would ask one thing in the survey for the game, a rarity converter. Which means convert 10 N = 1 R. 10R = 1SR, 10SR=1UR. In my opinion, by applying this mode in the game will encourage players more packs and put all rarity into use
...and Konami would sell fewer packs, because players have an easier way to acquire cards the need. They'll never do this; even "free" games have to turn a profit.
Wtf is the trap card at the lowest left? And if anyone can call out the extra deck I'd appreciate it. As well as any possible improvements to this deck/revisions? If so, elaborate on why you believe said changes improve the deck.
Hey Sam it’s probably already well known but for those who don’t if you craft a super rare or higher card of a specific art tape it will automatically unlock that art types pack as well as give you a free pull

Yeah, biggest thing I'm not seeing people do is. After each new pack you unlock from a crafted card you get a free pull. So craft one, free pull, then go back and craft another, rinse and repeat. You get the most that way. Instead people either JUST pull packs or craft multiple cards back to back not paying attention.
I just noticed this. I think I may have missed out on a free pull when I crafted Lunaloght Sabrecat

i used this video to build my dragon maid deck, and i got a very good surprise, becasue when i crafted cards form other packs, i would actually unlock a free pull from a secret pack (it has to be super rare or ultra rare) and in addition you unlock the secret pack for 24 hours
Guys this actually works is super useful I built my own super good Galaxy photon deck for completely free with some solo grinding, pack opening and a lot of dismantling and crafting you just need to put in some time and effort

Dragoon is in the game, it’s just locked behind the forbidden list. Search Dragoon, change the filter to include Forbidden, boom goes the dynamite.
3:10 in the practise is wrong ... says to special summon but you actually can't... has to be normal

One thing I'd like to say about the mystical spave typhoon thing you said. Tnags a bad way to choose starter deck. Choose based on rarer cards. Not based off an easy to ibtain copy of MST which you can get from dismantling 3 to 9 rare for a playset

You forgot to mention a few things. You cannot dismantle cards from precon decks, you get more cp from foil and prismatic, also the cheapest deck to get started would be blue eyes if you start with the dragon starter.
I started with the link deck and I'm trying to learn cybers and link monsters. I just started adjusting my starting deck and added a couple new monsters. I'm slowly getting the hang of link summoning.
Finally got around to downloading it. 2 days in and I already had nearly 13000 gems for free. Now I finally know what to spend them on.
I already conpleted the deul pass yesterday. I actively have the pot of greed as my mate.
Yooo sam, you can unlock the secret packs aswell by crafting a SR or UR card from the pack you want to unlock. :)
Dismanteling non-glossy gives you 10 points, glossy 15 poitns, "ultra-glossy" 30 points of its rarity. :)

N have plenty of cups of tea while your opponent spends half hour summoning one monster on to the field
A couple things about this video irked me.
One: You can't dismantle the cards you're telling people they can.
Two: The real best way is to build the deck you want even if you don't have the cards. Check how to obtain them and see the secret pack that has the most in them, then craft a SR or UR from that secret pack to unlock it. Now you can dump all your gems into the right pack!

I found you on youtube 2 days ago and i just started rapidly watching.
If you want a full Dark magician deck, just buy all 3 of the vortex of magic structure decks for 1500 gems then you can build a great dark magician deck. Proceeding in the solo section will give you blue eyes structure deck. So do with those as you please
This game is amazing I managed to build my deck for free I still have plenty of gems that I earned for freeeeeee Borroload Dragons is my favourite it has all forms of summoning except except pendulum the fact it’s on Switch makes it perfect for me :D

In hindsight this was the smarter route huh Sam lmao glad I checked out your video's before I went bawls deep and blew "X" amount trying to get Blue-eyes or Dragonmaid stuff
You can look up a card you want in edit deck, then craft one Sr or ur and you unlock the secret pack you desire that's how I unlocked the dark magician without actually pulling any of the cards. Also you can look up trap cards you want and craft them instead of pulling them

@TeamSamuraiX1 you should make a deck list in the description for the decks you show in your videos, it’s make new players like me be able to build and read the decks to see how they work.
Very helpful just getting back into it since I play on ps4. Last few days I have been getting frustrated with it when I make a deck and go into pop I keep losing. Really want a banishing deck since it's been my favorite for the longest time
for some reason on mine it won't show cards I haven't already gotten. if I search for a card I want to craft that I haven't already pulled it shows 0 results...
Also, something that he didn't mentioned: glossy finish cards dismantle for 15 CP and royal finish dismantle for full 30 CP.

On thing you got wrong. You can't dismantle cards that are given to you like the monster reborn, lighting storm etc. You also can't dismantle structure deck cards
you can also craft a sr or ur card of an arch-type to unlock the secret decks
Gems are locked behind a 10k wall for anyone who is f2p
You forgot that clicking dismantle all extra cards in the same tab as dismantle selected cards will get rid of any copies of cards you have that you have more than three of. You only need 3 of any card so that will get you a lot of cp without having to go through manually
you can make 1 or 2 decks for free this way but after the free gems dry up you're on your own unless we get some events that give gems. if you want to play more decks you have to pay or make an alternate account.
I hope you did more solo. Once you do then you get way more structure decks for free. Also can you put your dark magician deck list online?
