Well done! When tears roll down our faces we are on the mend... and let's not forget we are only forgiving ourselves and others for being possessed of human frailties... what a beautiful meditation...
I like that he’s right to the point and doesn’t spend a lot of time trying to explain everything. This allows for one to come to their own guidance. Thank you!
It is incredible to realize slowly to what extent you have been running away from your heart and soul. How much work you have in front of you to heal the wounds you inflicted to the world around you, to yourself and what wounds other people inflicted onto you. And to realize how these 3 dimensions are all the same. If you hurt the world (people and nature, also the same), you hurt yourself. If you hurt yourself, you hurt the world. If others or nature hurts you, they hurt themselves. This is such a key realization, if more people would understand this with their heart, peace and harmony would be brought to this realm. But we have forgotten about the truth, we have forgotten about the oneness of all things. Misinterpretated are the words and actions of wise men and women, misinterpretated are the words of prophets. I felt the resistance in all dimensions, there is so much work ahead of me…
It's so hard to forgive yourself for literally anything. It must be because we think we know better. I caught myself thinking "can i forgive myself" like "is that an option?" lol! Mindfulness is a great journey and I'm excited to keep learning and realizing more.
It was not until I did the meditation, did I realize how much I needed to forgive my perceptions of others, and also forgive myself. Thank you, Jack. I intend to make this a practice, a living one.
Thank you for providing such a healing meditation. I did this today to forgive an ex boyfriend who passed away 6 months ago. May he rest in peace and forgiveness x
Dear Jack Kornfield, Thank you for touching my life and opening my heart through your engaging presentations and your moving message. You will always inspire me, for the rest of my life. I will never forget you. xx
This was perfect. I needed these words and now I feel so much lighter. It is best for us not to hold on to resentment. It can be hard, but it will lessen the load immensely
That was moving, forgiving is so healing , both others & self. I didn't really didnt think to considered self forgiveness. The whole thrust of forgiveness in a cultural of Christianity is to look for forgiveness , & forget a major step, self acceptance.
We all carry unforgiven memories and hurt, unfortunately. We yearn to let it go and wonder how? Today, sit quietly for a few moments and let Jack Kornfield's soothing voice guide your heart to forgive. Love yourself and others fully. I pray you find peace in your heart!
Thank you Jack! I’m following you for a while now and all you do and teach is so nurturing and healing to me. I bow deep for the energy that is driving you and supports us all 🙏🏻❤️🌟🕊🎼
With this light and angle, Jack looks like he's in a kayak on a flying carpet 🤭 hihi But... Most beautiful and beneficial practice, which I will do 🙏❤️❤️❤️
Thank you for this meditation and your teachings. I like to ask for your permission to do this meditation in swedish and share it on you tube with link to this meditation. Is that ok?
felt great and did not realise I needed to forgive myself. the part where we hold ourself like an enfant did overwhelm me. thanks. Btw I was asking the universe for a chance and it finally gave me one this morning and I blew it up royally because of anger issues. was looking to ask forgiveness from universe.Any suggestions?
Wow. wow. I recently played a boxer who was molested by his trainer during his childhood in a feature film. The film follows his recovery process and the power that he gains from forgiving his former trainer. See it here---->"Box Of Forgiveness"
you realize your intro music is NEAR identical to the show Intervention - kind of off putting - considering one is full pain(on steroids) and this is pain reduction happiness addition
"To the extent that I am ready, I forgive you...." Whoosh! Tears rolled down my face saying this....the work continues.🙏. 😑. 🇨🇦

The great thing is letting go of fear, rage, frustration....forgiveness means this to me in this moment. Great practice. Hi from Italy.

I’m able to forgive others, but forgiving myself is FAR more challenging
Many feel the same way. It seems contradictory, but many have remarked on how hard it is to forgive oneself.
Thank you!
